Why wont the mouse, keyboard and monitor not work after cpu, pwer supply install...

If the motherboard used to work with the old cpu and power supply, but does not with the new cpu and power supply, then probably the cpu or power supply is bad.
Why did you change the cpu and power supply?
If the power supply went bad, it could have overloaded the mother board as well as the old cpu.
If you think the old cpu went bad, how do you know it was not actually the motherboard that went bad?
All I can suggest is that you double check all the connections.
If you have USB mouse and keyboard, try a DIN connected pair.
If you are using the onboard graphics, try a PCI express card instead.
Tell us if there is any front light activity from the power switch, drive, etc.?

Loud beeping sound on start up , now will not start up , power ok

First remove the Ram and boot the system without it. If you hear continuous two beeps, then the problem is with the Ram, you need to replace it. If nothing happens, then your cpu or your motherboard is gone. Good luck. Thanks for using FixYa.

Toshiba a105, wont power up, clicking sound

I seem to have the same problem. I have an a105-4134. Ive had since June of 2006 and ive kept it clean and have replaced several components throughout its life.

I was working on it few days ago until it just shut off. Confused, I press the power button thinking maybe the power adapter wasn't plugged all the way in and the battery depleted and it shut off. So now the computer will now power on. It lights up but shuts off within 1 second. Keeps doing this over and over.

My first thought was the dc jack as ive read it is common to be faulty after long use. I ordered a new one and unfortunately it was not the culprit. I then suspected the cheap aftermarket power adapter which replaced the dead oem power adapter. Bought a new one and experienced the exact same symptoms yet again.

Now I'm digging deep removing all components one by one. With each one I remove, I gain a few seconds of time that it will stay on before shutting off on its own. I powered it on with only the motherboard and cpu and it does the same thing.

From the original problem in this post, the cpu and motherboard were swapped out and same symptoms still occurred. This being the case, the only component left undiagnosed is the power board itself.

This is where I noticed that the computer will power up and run on battery power. The adapter plugged in will charge the battery but not power the computer while running. With this discovery it means that it cannot be any of the main components causing the problem.

Back to the power board, an obvious problem area seeing how this is tied in with power components. From the looks of it, it seems like a simple switch board but i may be wrong. My next step is to order a new power board. I will let you all know how it turns out.

No pic but sound

I think you probably mean the Y-Sustain board which does have fuse which can blow. This board is on the left hand side (as you look from the rear of the TV). Occassionally other factors can be responsible for this fuse to blow such as the buffer PCB which works in conjunction with the Sustain board. An established repair service centre or a supplier on-line will porvide a replacement for you.

if you have onboard video try a video card that fits in PCI or AGP slot or try a different video card in place of the one you use
with everything else seeming to be correct this seems like the only thing you have not done

No respons at all !

I think your power supply cables is not able to start your B-board if your power supply is working properly then check mother board jack where you insert your power supply plug in M-board. Then you have to change or repair that jack where you insert power supply wire in M-board. With best regards M. Khalid Shaikh from Pakistan Mobile: +92-332-2631983
