Question about Bose Lifestyle V20 System - black Theater System
I also had some problems with sound when i was switching between channels of my satellite receiver. I was loosing sound. Local Bose dealer told me this could be due to the inconsistent versions of HDMI supported by the connected devices. You may want to connect sound via a optical cable if there is one on your DVD and select optical as audio priority of your DVD connection on system V20.

Hi - Don't know about the switching LEDs but there is no reason to be using both the HDMI cable AND a digital coax cable to the V20.
You should have a single HDMI (carries video and 5.1 audio) cable from the DVD to the DVD input in the V20.
