Hi,
To replace the seal... the pump will need to be taken apart and the impeller removed from the shaft of the pump motor...
The impeller threads are the opposite of the pump rotation, so they are usually left hand threaded...
getting the impeller loose without damaging it is another problem...sometimes a sharp rap with a hammer and screwdriver will do the trick....other times I have held the motor shaft with a pump pliers and then used a strap wrench on the impeller....
Sometimes I have just beat the **** out of the impeller and then replaced it....
Be careful with the new seal also, as they can break or be damaged easily...a light film of oil or Vaseline will help sometimes also to keep them from leaking till they wear in...

Bob,
If that impeller is falling out then you have other problems....there needs to be at least a key that will keep the impeller from spinning on the shaft...
Anyway if you are sure the the impeller will stay securely on the shaft then the process to change the seal is described in detail here on this article on pages 3 and 4...

I have a different pump. It is a Century Pool Jetted Tub Motor. Part#1868840J. Serial#0005. The impeller basically falls out when you take apart the pump. It is not screwed on the shaft. Pressure must hold it in place when you put the pump back together. Anyway, I have that apart. The impeller looks fine, but I do not know how to remove the seal.
Thanks,
Bob
