Mine also prints in gren/blue tone, because magenta is missing or too faded. When I run a nozzle check, the second magenta line is compltely blank - no ink comes out. I put a brand new Canon 6 magenta ink cartridge and get the same.

Exactly the same problem with my iP5000; can't find out what causes it.

Tried everything, but pictures stay greenish.

Green is printing blue

If Green is printing as blue, you are not getting any yellow ink. Blue + Yellow make Green.

Please check to make sure you are not out of ink in the yellow cartridge and that the nozzles are clean.

Welcome Tony

Looks like you got a bad plunger that could be so full of dried ink or just clogged. you could by a printer service kit and see if that shores it up if not the plunger would need to be replaced..

Hi,

I had a similar problem. Pages in blue, but nozzle check in black. Tried what you tried. Changed the ink ($). Still no change. Then tried the maintenance option to clean the bottom plate. And now it is working. Go figure.

Color printing with green tint

Most probably your ink color RED and BLUE has run out. Refill/replace the color ink may help to solve your problem.

Colour problems when printing with dj 130

I had similar problems when I first installed the printer and after different tests we found out that the Magenta ink print head was faulty. Changed head to a new one and problem solved. You will need to recalibrate and do paper set up's again.

Too much green

Hold the print head over a steaming kettle take care not to scald yourself. The ink will run out of the bottom of the printhead just dab on a piece of paper towel, when you see green you will have cleaned it. I dont know if this will do any long term damage to printhead but it has worked three times for me
