Base settings are one and a quarter turn on each screw, you will need to fine tune from there, you should not exceed the max rpm 12500, this should be checked with a suitable taco, the idle speed should be 3000/3200 rpm.

How long should the juel line be on a 40cc poulan

A fuel line should be long enough to teach from where it attaches to the carberator to the fuel tank but not quite touching the bottom - however the line in the tank end should have a small filter on it. You should be able to buy a replacement line for your specific saw.

Do not know witch fuel line is the feed on my woodshark model 1950 carborator?

Depending on which carb you have, it should be the one on the choke side of the carb, closest to the top.

I need a service manual for a Poulan 2250 chain saw. I have several questions about this saw. Like the carberator has an in and an out. I need this info. to connect the filter line to the inlet side.

the best and fastest way to get the answer to this question would be to contact Poulan --- there is a ask Poulan website ,, they can get you the correct info you seek. I wish I could help more,, it has been several years since I owned a Poulan saw ( I am a Stihl guy now ), and I have been where you are right now ( 11 years ago I replaced the fuel line on mine -- it had a crack in the line ).
I hope this helps,

An i find pictures of a carberator for a crafstman

Your saw is made by Poulan.
The IPL (exploded parts list) for your saw contains a breakdown of the carburetor. Until 09/24/09 you could go find an IPL here:
Now you must be a dealer to utilize the only known source of parts for your saw. Please register your displeasure with this arrangement here:
They should also provide a link to the correct IPL for your saw. HTH
