Question about Cell Phones
On touch screen phones like the iphone and N97, when replacing the screen there is a small ribbon attched to the back of the screen that connects to the main circuit board. This ribbon allows your phone to recognize you touching the screen and makes the screen work. Take the front cover back off and check that the connector is clean and dust free (on the new screen and on the phone) reconnect the ribbon and push down gently until its securely in place and re-attach the screen to your handset.
This should solve your problem and hope it helps please rate thanks
