Problem for Apple MacBook Pro Notebook

Macbook pro start up problem

i started up my new macbook pro today and he worked fine for an hour or so then died/or went to sleep.
I was sure the battery had died so I plugged in the machine and allowed to charge for several hours. No lights are on/blinking when I checked the battery after 4/5 hours and the machine will not power up on mains either. Any ideas?

- Hey guys....brought the machine to an Apple service centre and they informed me that the problem is on an I/O board which needs to be replaced. A replcement board was ordered but that card too failed so I am waiting on a second replacement board to be shipped. At least they think they have identified the problem.......will update again when rectified.

- I think the problem lies with the pins in the mag connector? I noticed some not fully extended and ultimately flicked it with my fingers until all pins were even while pointing the connector/cord in a downward motion. Trick is to connect it to laptop without any of those moving!

- I have the same exact problem happening with mine. It has never had this problem before. However, I have already tried the solution suggested...and it did not work- td0527

First remove the battery, then plug it into your AC adapter. Hold the power button for 5 seconds or until you either hear and beep or the activity light on the front of your laptop lights up. Start up normally.
