I can't attach my files to my emails only on my pc but I can on the other computers

Your email program controls attachments, usually you have to ask it to get an attachment, then browse the files on your computer for the word document. Unlike the office email which may allow you to send emails direct from Word.

Scanned files fail to attach to emails, it says attachment failed every time.


okay, let me try this again. Scan the documents to a file on your computer and save them, then attach them to your email. it's possible either the email program/provider does not allow the attachment type you're trying to send. it's also possible that the file you're trying to send is too large. normally it will tell you if it's too large though. i'd try to scan the file to pdf and send it that way.

How to attach a file to an email


Open your email client and start typing the email such as who it is going to, the subject and whatever you want to say in the body of the email. Look for a link, tab or button somewhere on it that says Attach. Click Attach and then you will have the option to Browse anywhere on the computer to find the file, document, picture that you want to attach. 99% of the time the things you want to attach can be found in the My Documents or Documents folder or My Pictures or Pictures folder. Once you find the file you want to attach, click on it and click OK. You will be taken back to your email client and it will attach the file and you can actually see the attachment. Once it is attached, click Send

Load the voice tracer in the USB port of your PC.
Once the device has detected.
Click on the Start Menu then Computer
In the Computer explorer windows select the device,
Find the file you want to email.

If you using Outlook on your PC.

Right Click the file you want to send, select send to, Mail Recipient
A new email will load in outlook with the file attached.

If you using a web based email,
Create a new email,
Click add attachment
Find the file you want to send.
Click attach/upload/open

Depending upon which email program you are using the way you attach a file to an email varys.
Generally - create you email to the person you want to send the file attachment then look at the menu bar for something like "attach a file" then go the the folder where the file/s is located and click on the file/s you want to attach, when finished then click Send.

I write an email and want to attach a pic. I put the pic in the printer but where do I gofrom here?


I'm assuming it is a photo you wish to email? First you need to SCAN it into your computer where you will save it to a folder, remembering the folder name.

Then you open up the program you use for email and look for "attach file selection". In Outlook it is under INSERT, in other programs including webmail like gmail it will say something like "attatch file". Browse to where you saved the photo, and choose it.

Note that often just scanning a photo print can make a huge file size which may be too large for sending. Various email servers have limits on the size of email you can send.

There are other ways of getting a photo scanned and emailed often involving right clicking which pops up menus that say something like "email file". However how and where that is various from pc to pc depending on the printer and programs you have. The method above works for all types.

Here is the solution for you . Just follow the steps below :
  1. Open a new email and address it to whomever you are sending the photo to.(for eg : Click on the compose mail and enter the email address)
  2. Click "Attach," which is typically located on the tool bar above the body of the email template. It will also generally have a paper clip graphic to help you locate that button.
  3. Select the "File" option. Many email programs offer a "File" or "Photo" option; simply select the "File" option as it's much easier and has no effect on how the file is sent or received.
  4. Choose the photo you want to send from your computer. You can access different files in your computer by choosing the "Browse" option at the bottom of the Menu box. Once you pick the photo, select "Open" to attach it to your email. This may take a few moments, so be patient.
  5. Review your email. You should see an attachment directly below the subject line of your email; that is your photo. You can repeat the process to add more than one photo if you choose to do so.
  6. Write your email and send it as you normally would.
