Go to facebook,

enter your username and select: forgotten password.

facebook will send email to your email address, which you used to register with them,

once this is done, you will need to log into your email, you will have to click on the email notification sent by facebook and select this you will be prompted to enter new password twice

How do I recover my password I have new phone number now and cant remember my email info.

Request the password by email and then check all your accounts.

Or, phone your old phone number and ask them to log in and change the number to your own. Then change your password and write all the stuff down!

The only way to recover your Facebook account password is to go through the lost password utility Facebook provides.
Start here:
https://www.facebook.com/recover.php

Enter your email address, which is most likely how you login.
It will send a temporary password to you email and you can login and change your password using that temporary password.

I can't remember my email to my old facebook account. I want to deactivate it, because I have a new facebook account. Can't I be sent the email so I can try and remember the password?

Tell your friends who were in the friends list of your old facebook account to look at your profile info for email id. That would be your login mail id. Enter that mail id in 'Forgot password' link and get confirmation code. Paste that as per mail instructions and get new password. Login with that password and mail id you received from friends and enjoy your facebook.

Cheers!!!

Need a new password,forgot mine.

Use a simple to remember name (and write down what you enter)..with at least 8 characters (use numerical or similar..i.e. "..." or ",,," with numbers/names) so IF you need to change it again( ..and Facebook may prompt you later for that..) you can easily remember it.

AND YES PLEASE...use the prompt sentences properly..

Q: "What is your dog's name?".

A. "STUPID DOG" ...YES you would still need to remember you used all caps.

First three months I was on Yahoo chat in 1995...my log-in info was stolen by a UK hacker...YES it does happen.

Once you are back in...email the facebook administration people for your old log in info..and see if you can get your previous account back.
