Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

I recently bought ASUS U31F and i am having issues with @ function on keyboard. If i try to get @ working on numberpad on top using shift function system is returning " sign and if i press " sign...

Go to the control panel and look for the Region and Language option. Make sure the options on the Formats tab correspond to your location. Then go to the Keyboards and Languages tab and click the Change keyboards button. If a keyboard for your location and language is not shown, click Add and add it to the list. Remove any other keyboards that are shown that you do not use.
The problem is caused by Windows thinking you are using an American keyboard in the UK or the other way around. Changing the Region and Language options above should fix the problem.
Best of luck!

My laptop Toshiba Satellite L645's "W" letter is not functioning. Please help me fix this problem.

Sounds like the keyboard requires replacing. Check the many suppliers on ebay for a price.
Easy enough to change. Remove the plastic screw cover accross the top of the keyboard to reveal the fixings.
That's it!

When I press apostrophe quotes they don't appear. But when I press the button a second time, then I get double ( "" ) and have to backspace to get single quotations ( " ) How do I fix this?

Download the Microsoft settings utility for this keyboard and check through the options settings, especially for "smart quotes." The smart quote, if enabled, may not show up at either end of the quoted phrase until you press the apostrophe/quote key the second time; then both will show in their proper places, and one of the quote marks will be inverted (a nice style touch, if you want it).

Key @ and " changing place

I have had the same problem before. I found that setting the keyboard to U.S.english caused it on mine, so a good guess would be that you have done the same. Try switching the U.S./U.K. keyboard settings and that might be the solution.
You will find in in the control panel, keyboard options.
I hope this helps

My keyboard having a problem with the key @ and " changing place

The possibility is, you use the different keyboard layout. Check if your language is appropriate. Try to use osk (on screen keyboard) in : start/run and write there: osk, then push enter.  If in osk your keyboard still exchanging, i'm sure your keyboard layout is error.  but if your osk showing the right result, and your keyboard had the same problem, i'm sure there's circuit error inside your keyboard. You should open it (it need some expert i guess).
