Check your video cable or power plug for the monitor. It is possible one of the two are bad. You also may need to update your video card driver. I would say your monitor is bad if you have tried it on 2 different monitors and it does the same on both. Check your warranty expiration date, some monitors have 2 or 3 years warranty. If it's still under warranty, you may be able to have it replaced or repaired.

hello i have the same problem, there are 4 lamps (bulbs) inside the monitor when some of them falls the system turn off, cheks and good look
