Question about Samsung BD-P3600 Blu-Ray Player

1 Answer

My Samsung bluray player won't connect to the internet. It has worked in the past but now it won't connect. I have put in all the settings manually and when I run the network test everything passes except the internet connection.

Hi gooseman44,

i would suggest for you to put the Bluray player back to its main factory defualt settings by going through the menu and settings. this should make it work after you have put in the settings manualy once more.

I had Att DSL and never had an issue with my bluray player. I switched to charter Internet and now my Samsung BDP-1590 bluray player will not connect to the internet. Any ideas? I have reset the bluray....

If you're using the same router, nothing should have changed. If you're using a different router, you will need to connect to the network from the blu-Ray player, providing the network pass phrase/preshared key. You could try using an Ethernet cable from the router to the BD player and see if it works that way. This is assuming your network is up and the rest of your devices work fine.

Hope this helps!

Can't connect Samsung bd-e5400 to network

put in network password and had an "unable to connect" message, turned the bluray player off and on again and then the network connection worked fine. I had to also switched to "manual", failed to manually assign an IP, then switched back to auto. 1 of those 2 things solved my problem.

I have seen this happen before when an update went bad right in the middle of an Internet outage. If you bought this recently, try to return it for a replacement. Otherwise, you will have to contact Samsung's support line to see if there is a Factory hard reset.
