This is gigabytes link. You can get downloads ,etc. Try uninstall of software for board and download updated drivers from gigabyte. You might want to save download to file first. Go to the Giga Byte website and download the updated drivers so you can install them. The question mark is telling you it is either not recognized, doesn't have the correct drivers or is not setup correctly. This is most likely the problem with the sound card as well.

Click on "Start."

Click on the box that says "Device Manager."
Click on "Sound, Video, and Game Controllers."
Right-click on the device that prompts Windows XP to display Code 28 (it should be Windows Sound System Compatible Driver, also called the WDM driver). A drop-down menu will appear.
Click on "Update" and an Update Wizard will guide you through the installation of a new device driver, which should stop Code 28 from appearing on Windows XP.
