Same problem - Valves parts 31 and 32 (Qty 2 EA) needed replaced. I called Harbor Freight 1-800-444-3353 and pressed "0" to ask a technical question after following the first set of prompts.. "Continue in English...etc"
The Item number for the TL1017 is "93100". The repair kit for the valves is SKU# 12602. The total with shipping was $9.08 for me but may be a little different by the time you are reading this reply.. Haven't received them yet, so I can't comment on the parts at this time.

The plastic valve is most likely broken. CH dose not offer parts to the public so try this. I haven't tried this yet but will when they open., depending on part price. I am going to get part numbers 31 and 32. http://manuals.harborfreight.com/manuals/93000-93999/93100.pdf

When i turn the wheel left in 1999 chevy tahoe the exaust and engine revs up realy loud messing up the engine and it starting to get hard to turn left knowing it could mess up.what is wrong with it?

You have air in the power steering lines. Was the fluid low or do you have a leak?
Car off, in park, raise your front end, both front wheels off the ground with a floor jack. Start the engine and turn the wheel all the way right and left a couple times. Add more PS fluid if necessary and do it again. Air compresses but the fluid does not. Turning left uses almost all the fluid to push the arm out of the piston. Moving it all the way right will allow the air to escape in the fluid reservoir.

My Jeep went front end into a ditch and had a front impact with the ditch wall, now the transmission fluid has all leaked out quickly and it won't shift into gear.

How fast did you run into the wall?
You said all fluid leaked out. Transmissions need the fluid to work.
Need to go to the transmission experts who will probably say you need a rebuild or a need a new transmission or a new vehicle.

What will help my car to work

you have to find the leak in the system to know what needs replacing. if its the pump then replace the pump if its a hose replace hose, etc. then fill system with power steering fluid and start car and turn the steering wheel all the way left and right to bleed the system of air until the fluid has no air in it and is at the correct level. shut off car and let sit for a while and recheck fluid level. this will also help with the steering wheel not wanting to turn.

Bleed power steering on 2008 dodge avenger

to bleed power steering, with front wheels off ground slightly with front wheels pointing straight ahead.engine off. remove power steering filler cap.add power steering until fluid level stop dropping, wait couple minutes and wait, add fluid until level stay at full cold mark on power steering cap dip stick. dont over fill.when fluid level stop dropping, start vechicle, let it idle few minutes. see if fluid level drop if so add more fluid full cold mark.then turn steering all the way to left and right with out hitting a stop.turn steering wheel several times, then turn front wheels pointing forward check power steering fluid level.if power steering fluid level stop dropping air should be out of system, if steering turning wheel dont turn smoothly and power steering fluid look light tan color air getting in the system.check all power steering lines to rack and power steering pump for leaks.be sure you replaced all the power steering lines with new o rings if not you will get a leak.if you find a leak, you need to fix the leak and bleed system again.dont drive vechicle if your steering dont feel right, have vechicle towed to a garage.

2002 jeep grand cherokee replaced radiator cooling fan relay now air bag light stays on

The airbag light will come on and stay on as long as there is an active code in the system, this means that something is malfunctioning right now so we will turn the light on. You really need to have the codes checked for an accurate diagnosis.

Its possible that you have some problem or your sensor go to bad...

1. Disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable. Wait two minutes for the system capacitor to discharge before further service.
2. From the engine compartment, disconnect the right or left headlamp and dash wire harness connector for the front impact sensor from the sensor connector receptacle
3. From the engine compartment, remove the two screws that secure the right or left front impact sensor to the sensor mounting bracket on the right or left radiator support vertical member.
4. Remove the front impact sensor from the sensor mounting bracket.

That is for replacement, you just reverse the list for install.

Hope helps.

I need copy of instructions for Ingersoll Rand 231C impact tool. Cannot get mine in reverse. Many Thanks!

Follow this link:

http://www.irtechpubs.com/ir_pdfs/Tools/Impact%20Tools/Air%20Impactools/04584819_ed4.pdf

This is the manual for the 231C Impact Wrench.

There is a barrel that goes across the impact in the back, you can press this from right to left an vice versa. If the barrel will not move there may be damage inside and further inspection is necessary.

Power steering dont work to left or right

To find out witch it is,pump or rack and pinion, break loose the presure line on the power steering pump with a wench.Start the car and turn the steering wheel back and forth, you may need to loosen the nut on the power steering hose two or three turns to get the fluid to shoot out.It should come out pretty forceful. If it doesn`t,then replace the pump.If it does come out really powerful, replace the rack and pinion.

INTERMITENT BRAKE FAILURE

Have any repairs been made to the vehicle where the impact occurred?

My first suspicion would be that perhaps there is air in the brake lines, or maybe as a result of the impact there is a crack in one of the brake lines but I would expect that you would see brake fluid around somewhere and if it were leaking you would eventually come to a point the brakes would not work at all under any circumstance.

The first steps would be to:

1. Check your brake fluid reservoir in the engine bay and make sure it is up to the correct level.

2. Look at the left rear wheel area and see if you see any signs of a fluid leak. Be careful though, if there is brake fluid back there and you get it on the paint of the vehicle, it will take the paint off.

3. Have a helper get in the vehicle and operate the brakes while you or someone observes the left rear brake and see if you can see the brake engaging or if you see any signs of a fluid leak.
