Question about Office Equipment & Supplies

1 Answer

I have a HR-8TM Casio calculator. Question 1: I have repaced the ribbon on this calculator but it does not print the entire number as I enter it. such as 135.25, the 1 does not appear on the printout. The repacement I purchased is #11305 that is for use in Casio products and it lists HR8 on the back of the package. Is this not the correct ribbon? Does it need to specify HR-8TM? Question 2: When I run a list of numbers, if I subtotal the correct total appears. But, when I press total it rounds off the total amount. I'm sure I may have pressed a button that has caused this to happen but I don't want to start pressing all the buttons to find this error. Your immediate help will be extremely appreciated because I use this for our small business a lot. Thanks Bonnie Benson

My opinion ..if you do not know what did you pressed ..try to reset it ..if it has a reset button ...or remove all power from it and batteries..leave it for one minute ..and it should take it from the factory settings..

Have a little portable Casio HR-8TM. I cannot find the instructions to set the date and have it show at the top of the ribbon. Can you help?

You cannot "set the date" in that calculator, but you can insert a date by typing the date and pressing the # key.

How do I change the ribbon on my casio hr-8tm calculator?

Place the roll on the wire thing at the back (I don't think it matters which way round); push the paper through the slot at the bottom of the back and then (having taken the clear plastic cover off) push it along the bottom inside at the back as far as you can then start to press the feed button; keep feeding it with your finger and pushing the feed button asnd it should pick up eventually.
