Go to Run (either in your Start menu or by pressing the Windows key plus the R key) and type msconfig
Click on the Startup tab and uncheck everything (disable all button will do this quickly) then click ok and reboot. The next startup should be considerably quicker. I would also recommend running a virus scan with Malwarebytes free version. Also install CCleaner and run it. Also, go into Control Panel then Programs and Features, and uninstall anything that you are sure you dont need.
if it never used to run slow, and now does, then very high chance you have virus. run full virus scans, preferably 'online' , not using your installed antivirus scanner. if this fails to relieve the problem, restart into 'safe mode', and if problem does not persist anymore, it is most likely a driver issue. must uninstall devices from device manager, restart and see if problem is gone. if not, after uninstalling all major things , then use msconfig for 'diagnostic startup', if problem is resolved, figure out which one of the startups is causing it
Duce, how much memory (RAM) do you have.when a computer gets slow it have to little memory.is it a 32x the computer can only take 4 GB memory.is it a 64x ca:8-12.so i suggest you upgrade the memory and look over if you use the programs you got uninstall them never used and only rarely used. http://www.wisecleaner.com/ here do yo find a good cleanigprogram.
A slow computer could be caused by a number of things - 1.Insufficient RAM (memory) - if your computer has less than 512Mb of RAM then increase it to at least 1Gb of RAM. 2.Registry problems - clean and repair the registry, it will contain unused registry keys. Use programs such as Registry Mechanic, Microsoft RegClean etc. 3.Uninstall/remove unused programs, this will also free up hard disk space. 4.Not enough hard disk space - swap file space may need to be increased if Windows hasn't been configured to manage it. 5.Install latest Windows updates. 6.Update virus definition files and scan computer for viruses, Trojans, malware etc. 7.Clear the Internet cache for faster browsing. 8.Hard disk maintenance is required at least once a month to keep it functioning efficiently. Run the following programs - Disk Cleanup - removes temporary files that are no longer used and to recovers hard disk space. Disk Defragmenter to make fragmented files into contiguous files and therefore the hard disk access is faster.
your problem is that your computer is very slow and you have upgraded your

The reasons for a computer being slow could be either that you have a full hard drive low memory or possibly and more likely you have malware on it. first thing to do is run and anti malware program like Malware Bytes Download the free version and allow it to update and run a scan. once this has been done your PC should run a lot faster.
If not check your hard drive free space if it is below 15% you need to delete some of your old files and programs to free up some more
Spybot is an anti-spyware program, which shouldn't affect the anti-virus at all. The thing is, though, you can have as many anti-spyware programs as you want, but only one virus scanner. Otherwise, things get messed up. But As long as there are no Norton, McAfee, CA Antivirus, Kaspersky, or things like that on the computer, you should be fine. Also, check your scanning schedule to see if maybe it is running a virus scan every time you boot to Windows. That would cause things to slow down tremendously. And you can go to Start > All Programs > Startup and delete things you don't need running when you start Windows. If you want, you can delete everything in that menu without any real negative effect. Those things can be started manually if you need them to.
