There should be a lever on the back rear to put the device in neutral. On the other hand, gel cell batteries are generally available at auto parts stores. Why not just get two new ones and replace them if they are done for?

Just a thought.

On the back of the chair, there is a lever that dis-engages the drive motor to allow you to push the chair.

My whell chair moves too slow going forward

The 1120 can come either of 3 controllers. Find the speed control and adjust it to your desired speed. If you have the Pilot Controller the speed dial knob is at the rear of the controller. Be sure to fully charge the batteries after each use and check all connections for tightness.

My jazz 1120 battery does not stay charged long, why?

Usually the age of the battery is the issue. You can only get a couple of years out of a battery in your application, way shorter than you would think.

My hand controler on my jazzy 1120 2000 keeps blink and I can not get the chair to move the batteries are good

GAdams You need to count the number of flashes. The number of flashes will give you the flash code or error code. IE: 3 flashes pause 3 flashes pause etc. = left motor short If you have your owners manual it should list the flash codes and what they mean for your chair. If not you can contact Pride Mobility @ 1-800-800-8586 and ask for Tech Support. If medicare paid for your chair the they will pay most of the repair cost. Contact the provider where you got your chair to see if they can repair it or refer you to a service Company that can. Hope this helps

What are the best batteries for my jazzy 1120.

andre Your Jazzy uses 2 Group 24 batteries and I would get MK batteries they are very good and can last 3-4 years if taken care of. Follow their charging recommendations and you should get great service from them Hope this helps you

I think my charger isn't charging the batterys

Have someone check if the on board charger light is green after you have charged it all night. Most probably you have a charger problem and this will also create a battery problem since you haven't been charging them with a bad chargger. If medicare purchased your chair then you can find a repair service to repair your chair and Medicare will pay for most of the repair

Charger on, chair won't charge, pushed in reset, nothing, checked wires & connections ok. new but never charged much. red light on, on charger.charger not to warm yet. ???????????

What do the lights on the joystick do when you turn it on with the charger plugged in? If the lights are not scrolling then the chair is not recognizing the charger. If they are scrolling the charger is the issue. If you can try another charger.
