Headshell for Denon DP-45F Turntable

I am trying to bring back to life a Denon DP-45F turntable that has been laying up for many years. Somewhere in its travels the headshell has been broken right where the headshell connects to the tonearm. I have tried to find a replacement headshell ( PCL-30) but have been spectacuraly unsuccessful. Could any one help in finding a replacement, old or new would be fine. Failing that could someone please recommend a universal headshell solution as close to the original as practical? Please contact me at cwedemeyer@hutch-hayes.com. Any help would be geatly appreciated. Thanks - Carl Wedemeyer

DP 200 The turntable is not starting records at beginning, maybe 2 or 3 seconds in. There isn't an adjustment that I can see. Help appreciated.

The PCL-30 does not look like a standard headshell. I doubt the above answer is correct.

Any Half-Inch / Standard mount headshell will work on this turntable. Luckily for you, these are very common.

How do i find a turntable cartridge technics headshell SL-BD22

The SL-BD22 turntable's tonearm does not have a headshell. It takes a P-mount (otherwise known as a T4P) cartridge which plugs directly into the end of the arm.

I need a cartridge for my Denon DP-DJ151 Turntable, and I can't find one anywhere. Is there a universal I could get? Thank you!

You can fit any cartridge as long as it will fit the headshell. Just look around for something like the Denon cartridge mount.

In my DENON DP-300F tone arm don't come back after playing record. It just stays in the end of record? How can i fix it?

A lot of decks don't actually do that anyway. But if it previously did this then it's probably a mechanical problem. Removing the bottom of the turntable might show up the cause of the problem.

What cartridge to use on Denon DP-DJ151?

Anything that will fit the headshell. You can spend a few pounds or few hundred on them. It depends what kind of quality you want.

I just received a denon dp-45f. i am completely new to the vinyl world and honestly have no idea what i can plug it into. is it at all possible to plug it into a TV to use those speakers, or will i need to...

Yes you will need to purchase a stereo that has a phono input. If not you will have to buy an amplifier for the record player. Some newer Yamahas have a phono input. Hope this helps.

Platter turns slow

This turntable design has a direct drive system instead of belt drive (two types). If this unit has been in storage for some time, it has most likely been at hot or cold tempuratures - not good for any electronic/mechanical system.
My guess is that the direct drive motor needs to be rebuilt - internal friction is probably keeping it from operating at proper speed. Best to consult with a repair shop that can handle direct drive turntables - several on the internet, if you cannot find one locally.

BTW: You can find a manual for this at : http://www.vinylengine.com/library/denon/dp-45f.shtml

Best regards,
Andre
