SOURCE: Cannot Enter Facebook

Many email programs or providers have a feature that blocks attachments from being opened. This is a security feature and should only be turned off when you are sure you know where you got the email from. In outlook the feature displays a message just above the email that says (links have been disabled ETC.) You will need to click on the message and select the option that you woud like (Enable Links) Other email providers have a similar feature. You will need to contact the specific provider to get the specifics of their program or let me know what email program you are using so that I can provide more information.

SOURCE: Facebook blocked my account. Why doesn't FB tell

there are reasons why someones account suddenly blocked by Facebook and sometimes they were not informed. Facebook system has gone to being strict in monitoring activities happening inside a person's account. (You are right. They are monitoring all facebook users)

Why? Because of spamming and phishing. Its like a virus that a person's account once infected will send spams on all of its friends. Imagine how many persons there are in a friends list.

However Facebook sometimes mistaken some activities in an account. When someone sends somethings on a group of friends and someone adds a large number of friends, Facebook mistaken it as a spam.

If you are wanting to unblock your account send an email to DISABLED@FACEBOOK.COM. State your reasons why you should be unblock. Ask also the reasons why they block your account. So it will be a reminder for you to prevent your account from being block again. Remember, facebook will unblock account only once, so better be careful.

Let me know if this is a help to you.

Thank You for using Fixya!

SOURCE: Would like to keep business separate from personal on Facebook

Facebook is cross referencing contact details not emails. They do comparison on many levels to verify duplicate accounts, etc. They also do a "Friend" check to suggest new people as friends etc. Try recreating your Business account and DONT make yourself a friend of that account. Set privacy settings to FRIENDS ONLY and that will only allow customers you invite personally to join your business acct and not try and cross reference with other friends. DONT choose "Friends and Friends of friends" otherwise if your customer also has your personal Facebook as a friend it will try and link. Keep them both sterile of eachother.

Why I can't open my Facebook page I was on it earlier and now I can't get back on my Facebook profile page etc.

Hmm... someone might have hacked your account. Try checking your inbox from the email provider your Facebook account is associated with. For example, if your email address has a domain name of yahoo.com, then log in to Yahoo, check your inbox. Facebook sends you an email right away if your Facebook account was hacked. The email they send informs you that your email address was replaced with a new one. Then it asks you if that is your own doing, you can just ignore it. But since you suspect someone is using your account, then that person might have replaced your email address with his. If that is the case, then there's an option in that email Facebook sent you to 'let them know' or 'secure your account'. Click on it. If you're successful, you should be able to get hold of your account back. And Facebook system will even prompt you to change your password.

Moral of the story? You should not give any of your email addresses to anyone. Not even to family members, relatives or friends. If the computer you're using is also used by other people and there are no separate user accounts for each [meaning everyone can log into that computer as administrator then one safety tip is to NOT save your password in Mozilla Firefox. If you do and another person who is Internet savvy clicked on the browser's Tools menu [Tools>Options>Security>Saved Passwords] when you're away, then that person can hack your account/s. If you're the owner of the computer and you're sharing it with other people, better create a guest account or user accounts for each person who uses your computer, but make sure you're the administrator of your own computer and that each of you has his/her own password when logging on to the computer.

I can't log into my old facebook account, I don't remember my login details, I've tried everything even trusted contacts, I have a new email adress please help Feroza Rajaal

Feroza. Loosing a password is as bad as loosing the only key to your front door. Loosing equals forgotten. Facebook has a lot of ways to recover your account, but you should have left at least one email account where you still have access to, before you last connected to FB.
They even can send a reset pass word code to one of the first e-mail addresses you used to verify you were a real person and not a bot. Remember you had to open a mail and send back a number, or click a link while setting up your account.
I'm not sure you tried to get help from Facebook, but if not, go to this page and see if anything fits your situation, to recover your account.

I have been trying to create a facebook account but information always comes back in the name of the person sharing the computer who has his own facebook account.

Log out of his account by clicking the little gear icon in the upper-right then clicking "Log Out." You can then sign in on your account or create one.

When you're done, be polite and log out of your account the same way so he doesn't have the same problem.

Contact problems

According to the third article of the Safety section in Facebook's Statement of Rights and Responsibilities, willfully compromising a user's account on the social networking constitutes a violation of Facebook's user agreement.

Reporting such violations may be performed in a number of ways, depending on the situation. If either you or your friend's Facebook account has been hacked, file a report through Facebook's Help Center.

If you are aware of a specific user on Facebook who is engaged in hacking other accounts, file a report regarding his activity through his profile page.

Go to Facebook.com, type the email and password associated with your account in the corresponding text fields and press "Enter."

Click "Account" in the top menu bar and select "Help Center."

Click "Security" in the "Popular Topics" section.
Click "I Think My Account is Compromised" in the Account Security menu.
Click either of the two security questions, depending on your situation, and click "Secure it here."
Click "Secure Account" and click "Continue."
Complete each of the steps for securing your account, including changing your password, changing your email password, reviewing your changes and unlocking your account.

Click "Done" to complete the process.

The developers at Facebook receive a notification regarding your account being compromised. Report Your Friend's Compromised Profile

Sign into Facebook, click "Account" in the top menu bar and select "Help Center."
Click the "Security" icon in the "Popular Topics" section.
Click "I Think My Friend's Account is Compromised" in the Account Security menu.
Click any of the three questions depending on your circumstances and click "File a Report."
Click your friend's full name, his birthday, the email associated with his account and a description of the situation in the corresponding text fields.
Click "Submit" to send the report to the developers at Facebook.
Report a Profile on Facebook

Log into Facebook, click the "Search" text field and type the name of the profile you want to report for hacking.
Scroll down and click "Report/Block This Person" in the left side bar.
Click "Unfriend" or "Block" depending on the situation and click "This Person is Bullying or Harassing Me," click the drop-down menu and select "Other."

Facebook does not offer an option in this drop-down menu that applies specifically to hacking, but selecting this option is the best fit for that form of violation.
Click the user's name at the top of the page, type a report regarding the account hacking in the text field and press "Enter."

The report is sent to the Facebook developers.

On Thursday, January 27th, in the a.m.,, I attempted access to my Facebook page and was told my password was incorrect. I clicked on "forget password?"and got the web page of Randy Oman instead...

Hi,
From the description of the issue, it seems your friend accessed his Facebook account on your computer and then did not log out of his Facebook page. So to resolve this issue, you will have to log out of his account and then log in to your account.

To log out of the Facebook account of the person who last used your computer, kindly click the "Account" tab at the top-right of the Facebook page and select "Logout" from the drop-down menu. (See attached image)

Then login to your account by entering your id and password. For more help and clarifications, please feel free to reply to this post.

Hope this solves your problem. Thanks for using FixYa.
