You can try and call your service provider and they might be able to reset it for you.

Android operation systems have you set-up a Gmail account when you first activate them. This GMAIL automatically backs up contacts, calendar, and of course e-mail. Once you try the unlock too many times it will have you sign into it. If you don't remember then you will have to Manually Master Clear it and start all over. LMK if this is the case.
