i have some tips on how to install sim card on your cellphone:
Install SIM card 1. Make sure that the cover of the connector panel is closed. 2. Slide the phone open. 3. Open the SIM card compartment (1) on the back of the slide 4. Slide the metal SIM card holder towards the compartment lid to release it (2). 5. Open the SIM card holder. 6. Insert the SIM card in the holder as shown (cut corner at the upper right).
7. Close the SIM card holder, and press it down slightly. 8. To lock the SIM card holder, slide it away from the compartment lid (1). 9. Close the SIM card compartment (2).
there is nothing wrong with your screen, the problem is from the flex that connects your screen to the phone's main board. This flex must have worn out that's why your screen is not displaying any picture.
The problem is common with flip and slide phones. The flex gets worn out as a result of constant opening and close of the flip or slide phone.
I would urge you to replace the flex and I am assuring you that your screen will display picture again. You might also be lucky to find out that the flex is not well fix, that is, it may have loosed contact.
If you cannot change the flex yourself, maybe you should take the phone to a local repairer within your vicinity, so that the flex can be fixed/replaced.
okay so u hav tried hard bt v r really sorry to say that the problme is that mostly 6500 slide has dis unique problem . its company's deal however. we wish u had buyed another model. but if u get it reformatted instead of updating software it will work
When you slide open the phone you will see a shiny part under the key pad just take something sharp and lift that piece out you will see four screws wich you loosen then just blow hard the sand will get loose
slide your phone check the back of your phone if there's a screw unscrew it if theres not try removed the front case of your phone by using your thumb nail slide it on side slowly until to removed after that you will see your power switch check it if it's broken if broken you need to replaced it.
