The dryer is taking a lot longer to dry now than before. I'm sure it's not lint, insufficient gas supply or the vent needing cleaned. The cooling light is staying on solid and the drying light...

If your dryer is not drying like it once did or if you just have nottaken the time to give yourself a clean dryer in a long time then youneed to do that. At least once a year the dryer cleaning should takeplace. Lint build up in the dryer duct is one of the main causesfor your dryer to fail.

Most likely the igniter needs replacing tho it also could be thermistor or lack of gas flow or a few others.

Lg gas dryer not igniting/no heat

If your dryer is any of these modes here listed below. I'm sending you a repair manual to help you. I'm not sure of your model number but these dryers are basically the same problems, Igniters, temperature switch, solenoid coils or door switch interruptions I would focus on the solenoid exhaust blockage, high limit , electronic heat sensor first, Thanks, Sea Breeze click below

Cooling light on?

The cooling light is always on, it flashes when it is in that part of the cycle, sounds like he put it in to a test mode. Was it a thermistor that he changed?
No heat, sounds to me like a thermostat might be blown. Call the guy back, if you haven't already.

LG Gas Stacking Dryer

Check the vent and make sure it is not plugged with lint. Make sure the vent hose is clear. The light is telling you something blocking the airflow. You might not be able to see it easily.
