Try This...
Toggle the Hold switch on and off. (Slide it to Hold, then turn it off again.)
Press and hold the Menu and Select(center button) buttons until the Apple logo appears, about 6 to 10 seconds. You may need to repeat this step.
Tip: If you are having difficulty resetting your iPod, set it on a flat surface. Make sure the finger pressing the Select button (center button) is not touching any part of the click wheel. Also make sure that you are pressing the Menu button toward the outside of the click wheel, and not near the center.

My kindel whitepaper has a message on the screen. usb drive mode. I have tried everything I could like of my cannot get that screen to go away or boot .

If you can't get the USB mode to go away and have already disconnected it, you'll have to reboot it. (Hold the power switch to the right for 30 seconds AFTER you disconnect the cable.)

Battery will not hold charge, something is draining, not a battery problem

Try disconnecting the battery (engine NOT running). Turn everything off. Touch the battery cable to the battery post - if it sparks a tiny bit, you can easily test. If not, use a multimeter (voltage setting) or test light between teh battery post and the cable to verify a drain. If you find NO drain that way, then nothing's draining your battery - you have a battery or alternator problem.

If you DO find a drain that way, then you have to disconnect everything electrical - one thing at a time - until the drain goes away. When it goes away, whatever you just disconnected is the culprit.

Engine needs to be removed need instructions

Disconnect and remove the battery, drain the cooling system and remove the radiator, to insure it doesn't get damaged and to afford more working space.Drain the engine oil and remove the alternator and power steering pump (if equipped) Disconnect all electrical connection and, using masking tape, tag all connectors for the reinstall process, same with the vacuum hoses, and secure them out of the way. Disconnect and plug the fuel lines and throttle cables, securing them away. Disconnect the exhaust head pipe, torque converter bolts and transmission bell housing bolts. As the engine in the pic shows, the motor mount does not connect to the trans so you will have to support the trans (or remove it with the engine and separate it later) Using an engine support fixture and engine cradle, slightly lift the engine a little to remove the engine weight from the mounts, remove the mounts, pull (or pry if necessary) the engine away from the trans, and raise the engine till it clears the engine bay. Make sure you have disconnected the hidden ground wires usually located on the firewall side of the block. Good luck

I disconnected the battery on my 2008 jeep liberty sport to install a radio and when I reconnected it I got an "error" message on the odometer that won't go away. I did install a pac to adapt for...

its because the radio was disconnected from the computer as the alarm system is run through the radio so it doesnt need a code putting in every time the battery is disconnected ,so as far as iam aware its back to the dealer to re programme the computer to remove it from the memory or the computer

1.Raise the hood of your Tacoma. Disconnect the negative battery cable with a wrench and isolate the cable away from the battery
Raise the hood of your Tacoma. Disconnect the negative battery cable with a wrench and isolate the cable away from the battery

Remove the nut securing the battery cable to the starter body with a wrench. Pull the battery cable off the post away from the starter. Pull the other wiring connection straight out of the connector.

Remove the mounting bolts securing the starter body to the bell housing with a socket and ratchet. Support the starter body while you remove the mounting bolts, then pull the starter out of the bell housing.

Good luck!!!

Bluetooth disconnects after 5 minutes

I know this sounds silly, but try having your cell phone more than a couple feet away from the base of the DECT phone. Bluetooth can have issues when they are really close together. I have mine setting about 6ft away without problems.

BIOS can't find all HDD and they soud broken

Okay, you're troubleshooting an overclocked system. First thing you do is remove the overclocked settings. Does the problem go away?

Disconnect one of the drives and try again. Does the problem go away?

Disconnect another drive, reconnect the first one. Does the problem go away?

You must narrow down your possibilities, right now it could be any number of things wrong. Post back here with the results of your testing.

Do not disconnect... nothing worked

In iTunes, you should be able to change the iPod to sync manually. that way, you can personally drag and drop your files into the iPod. You'll still have the DO NOT DISCONNECT on the screen, but it will sync easier.
