Question about Dell Inspiron E1705 Notebook
Can you boot to the safe mode usually F8 although on Dell it may be another key? Could also be a motherboard issue

Set the BIOS to defaults:
Restart your Dell laptop. Click on "Start," "Turn off Computer" and "Restart."
