Chariot cougar push-button wheel is stuck

I had the same problem and made the fix. I unbolted the actual ski and the connecting rod (release mechanism) was still in the chariot. Then I got the rod out by putting a 15 mm closed wrench over the rod, temporarily hand tightened the nut back in place, and used a rubber mallet on the wrench (this was after trying to pull it out with pliers) to get the piece out. The black plastic insert came out also and from there I was able to hammer the rod out in a vise, got the release mechanism working, and added a few drops of lube to hopefully mitigate this problem in the future.

What would make the break lights on the outside stay on the whole time you are driving? Emergency break isnt on. 99 mercury cougar

Your brake switch is probably stuck. It is located under the dash in the cab, above the pedals. It is a chrome looking cylinder. It has a button on the end of it, when you push the break in, it releases the button. It is probably stuck.

Noise when making a slow speed tight turn. 1999 mercury cougar already replaced right front wheel bearing

noises during slow tight turns are usually CV joints going bad. A way to check, is to jack up one front wheel, set the parking brake, and put the car in drive without pressing the gas. Turn the wheel to both extremes, and listen for the noise. Repeat with the other front wheel (set the first one back down) and listen. Whichever makes the noise, is the side you need to change.

Baby slumps forward

I had the same problem with my baby, but I solved it the cheap way. I removed the car seat (cradle) and strapped it into the carriage. It worked like a charm!
