The easiest way to fix the problem is to buy a replacement head. Hope this helped Tim

WITH REGARD TO STRIMER MODEL GL652 TYPE 2 THE WIRE SEEMS TO FEED OUT ALL THE TIME THE STRIMER IS USED NOT WHEN JUST REQUIRED, ANY IDEA WHAT IS WRONG?

Yes, you are winding the string on in the wrong direction. You should wind the line on in the opposite direction that the trimmer head turns while in operation.

Good Luck!

I need calibration instructions

This unit is self calibrating. There is no method for manually calibrating this tool. Just hold the sensor flat against the wall and depress the button. After a few seconds the unit is calibrated and you can begin sliding it smoothly across your wall to detect studs and wires.

How to feed line into a black and decker trimer/edger model st6000 electric?

The ST6000 uses centrifugal force. Once you mount the new spool of string and thread it out of the feeder and into the housing below, plug it in, give it power and hold the line feed button down, feeding the line. Within seconds, the line will feed out through the head and you'll be in business.
