The "7APE" stands for tape, there should be a switch on the back that says "tape enable" or something similar, flip it to disable and you should be set! glad to help!

How can I get my keyboard to turn on?

Look in your manual or online for instructions on how to reboot or re-initialize your instrument. Normally it needs various specific buttons pressed when you turn the instrument on. This will reset the instrument to the factory settings and clear up most glitches, but you will lose any changes you've made, so it's always best to save your info periodically to an outside device.
