SOURCE: Fridge and Freezer losing cooling

we bought a f&p fridge freezer and in summer noticed it wasn't cooling and the freezer wasn't freezing, when the service guy came out he noticed our ducted air con was blowing onto the fridge, once we had redirected the air con outlet the fridge started working as normal, apparently f&p's work on air being convected around the cabinet of the fridge and air blowing on the fridge can effect the temperature of the convected air. hope this helps you or someone

SOURCE: We are babysitting our friend's Fisher and Paykel

Does it trips the house power directly you turn the refrigerator ON.If this is the case then its either fridge board problem, the board is getting short or the voltage of the socket has to be checked,to which the power cord of refrigerator is getting connected. --------------- But as you mentioned the beeping problem. This beeping is problem with most of the fisher and paykel model refrigerators. This problem is noticed due to the faulty fan in the fridge as well as freezer section.--------If the fan is getting short then it can cause the problem.--------Also the defrost element has to be checked. If its getting short then it will shut of the refrigerator.-------- The parts are available only from F& P service center. For service or repair of your Fisher & Paykel appliance, please call 1300 650 590 to arrange for a local service technician.Click this link directly for F& P SERVICE CENTER LOCATION:-- ------------- This should help.Thanks.Helpmech.

Hi, For the benefit of anyone doing a Google search for it (which is likely anyone with a Fisher and Paykel fridge w/icemaker) the broken wire is a notorious design flaw, and if you see it dangling from your ice tray - symptom is no ice being made -

You must remove the clip underneath the ice tray, and a little foam pad with it. There you will see the broken wire attached to a little black sensor. It's a little fiddly to do in place, but after unplugging the fridge (unless you like a good electric jolt) you need to splice the wire and reattach it. Your ice maker should resume working as intended.

Hope that helped.

Good luck.

I have a 10 years E521T fisher & paykel. The freezer compartment is working fine, however the fridge compartment is not working even adjust temperture. It's beeping and can be reset with pressing

From thee sounds of your issue you will need a sensor or a fan motor to move air from one section to another. Most likely this would be a fan motor located within the freezer section either not running or air flow is obstructed and can't leave the freezer section to enter through passages to cool the other section. Locate the air ports within the refer section, open freezer door (is there air coming out of air port in this section?). Now, close door to freezer, (is the same air flow still there?). If not you have an air flow restriction and this would need to be addressed. Good Luck, hit me up if you have more questions

I have a 4 year old model WGP 95 pump which has been running trouble free until a few weeks ago since when it has developed a recurring earth leakage problem which seems to make no sense. When operating...

I assume the RCD is an overload protection device. I would check the pressure side of your system and be sure it is clean. It sounds like it is building up back pressure. and overloading the pump motor.

Beeping constantly in middle of night

My fridge (E440T but I believe the E522B is similar) also had a broken fan wire. I pulled off the panel and re-soldered the wire. I also created a document for others to follow if interested at I fixed my Fisher and Paykel Fridge Active Smart Fridge.pdf
Thanks to all postings on this site - it really helped a lot.
