Download the drivers to your desktop.
Unzip the files into a folder on your desktop.
Go to the device manager.
Right Click the Unknown device and update drivers or install drivers.
Choose Let me choose to install from a local location.
Type in the folder name where you save the drivers and let it search the folder.
It should automatically add the drivers and you should be set.

I hope this helps, any questions leave a comment and i will get back to you.

Try the adapter in another computer first.
If the adapter gives the same problem in another computer, it's gone defective and you need a new adapter.
Try that first, and post a reply here if the unit works in a different machine.

Winxp sp3 andwin7 cannot recognized its USB adapter saying that it is an unknown device, i've tried to remove it from device manager and reboot, i also tried to update the driver through windows update...

The easiest way to figure out what is going on is to try the adapter on a different computer. If it is still good it will be detected. Usually when a usb device fails it may be recognized or is recognized only as a usb device but it will not work. You don;t have to install any drivers just to test this on another computer unless you want to make sure it is fully functional. It is also possible that the usb ports on the computer are not working or one isn't. Simpley use on of the other ports. The usb port controller usually operate a pair of usb ports so try all the ports. You may get a problem with one port or pair but rarely all at the same time.

I think you will find that the adapter itself is your problem and will probably need to be replaced.

I have an Engage wireless mouse that has worked fine for about 6 months and now when I plug the adapter into my laptop (Windows 7), a message shows up USB Device not recognized. I have search for driver...

Does that message pop up when you plug it into every available USB port? Are your batteries charged? Is the mouse recognized on another computer?
This could mean that your USB port is dead or dying (unlikely) or that your mouse adapter is fried.
Try it on another computer, if you get the same message, it's off to the store for you!

Here's what you can do since this is a USB wireless adapter, first connect the USB adapter on a different USB port on the computer better if you connect it on the back USB port of the computer tower and check if the computer will recognize it and if its recognize you can already continue with the software installation , but if not you can restart first the computer and check if the adapter will be recognized if still not the next thing to do here just to know if the adapter is good or bad is to connect it on a different computer and just to check if it will be recognized once its connected to a USB port , because a device should be automatically will be recognized by a computer once you connect it so if its still not recognized by a different computer adapter is bad...

In usb slot bt200c-usb not work or blue light not glow

Connect the device on another USB slot at the back of your computer. You may also try connecting the device on another computer to further isolate the problem. If the adapter will not be recognized on another USB slot or another computer I assume that your USB adapter is defective.
