Sounds like a paper jam issue. You will need a small flashlight and look all through the printer for the smallest of paper that may be stuck. Check the rollers, remove the print cartridges, look everywhere.

How to Cancel Printing in a Brother HL-2135W printer

Start by pulling the paper tray out to stop further pages being printed without jamming the printer up.

Then go onto your print queue on your computer and delete the job that is printing 50 pages.

If it dissapears then put the paper tray back in and it may print out the last page or two that were in the printer buffer.

If it does not dissapear from the print queue then turn the printer off and try to delete the job again.

Once you have ordered the job deleted then you can turn your printer back on and put the paper tray back in and allow it to continue. It should only print out the last page or two and then the job will dissapear

Printer gives mesasage of jammed paper and will not print

Hi Pedro,
This means the printing paper maybe stuck.
  • Turn the printer off and on.This sometimes clears jam automatically. In case it doesn't:-
  • You need to gently pull the paper out from the rear tray or from the output slot.
  • In case it tears, turn the printer off and open the printhead cover and remove the papers carefully not to touch anything inside.Close the cover.
  • Load printing papers again and press RESUME on the printer to print queued print jobs.

Hope this helps.Thanks!

Not printing and nothing is paused or on the print list.

First of all you must let canceled print jobs finish deleting before sending new jobs, if the job is taking too long try restarting the computer with the printer on to clear the jobs this usually works if not then after restart open the printers folder and cancel all jobs here. let them finish deleting while the printer is still on (they must remain in communication during deleting jobs. Once all jobs are gone, remove the power brick from the printer for about a minute then reinsert and let the printer start up if it doesn't after a minute or so just turn it on once it finishes then try printing again.
