Greetings I personally like it when my fans are cooling at full speed all the time. That means it is cooling well. Now most computer fans are sensory thermostatically controlled fans. Which means they go on and off when the computer is cool and on when it gets hot. Now with this in mind. You may just need a simple blowing out of the hardware above the CPU might be packed with dust.
So first I would clean it out if you have not done so already if you have done so then I would go to control panel and click on the power options and set it to default. I noticed when I changed my settings away from default my fans stayed on. When I went back and set the power options to default the fans started going on and off during the hot and cold readings. This is just my computer efforts to solve this it is really not a problem if your fans are working full speed. However if you leave your computer on all the time note that this will wear them down sooner than they would if they were going on and off. Thanks for using FixYa! John

Upon starting my truck I hear the sound of rushing air for about 30 seconds then ok; why?

I would say more than likely it the radiator cooling fan. For some reason some vehicles, no matter what temperature, the cooling fan clutch engages which makes the cooling fan run at full speed like there's no fan clutch.

It sort of makes it sound like the engine is revving up but it's simply the sound of the rushing air from the fan clutch making the cooling fan spin at full speed.

Hope this helps.

Try going into BIOS menu and look at the CPU tab and probably inside it you will find everything about the FAN.(or any where near it, since you gave no info about mother board / BIOS

The reason why its spinning at high RPM is because,
a) Its been set to TURBO
b) Its been set to Manual and @ high RPM

I have a variable speed wall switch on my ceiling fan. It is made specifically for fans. Problem is it doesn't work. If the slider is full on the fan spins. If I unadjusted the slider the fan turns...

If the wall switch doesn't have 3 or 4 speeds then it is not a fan control. There are no fan companys that make a variable fan control so that should tell you something.REPLACE IT with a fan control.

When i turn on my pc all seems well for about 5 secs then the heatsync fan and the tower fan stop moving and at that point my video card fan starts spinning 5 times faster what would cause this

Following are the reasons for overheating, just take care of these things::

1. Stop Overclocking your CPU
2. Make sure your Heat Sink is placed properly above the processor
3. Clean the Processor fan, Heat Sink and other peripherals
4. Use High Speed fans
5. Use CPU Heat Sink Paste in the processor
6. Make sure your dint restrict the speed of CPU fan.
7. Use Additional Cooling Units

If such problems occurs due to internal errors then i would suggest to perform a full computer scan with pc optimization tool like PCFresher for an instant fix.

Hi, for some reason, after Windows 7 has loaded the fan stops spinning on the Ageia PhysX card. The fan also makes a weird noise which it never used to do. Do u know what's wrong with it? It's...

In BIOS the fan always runs at full power, in Windows the speed is supposed to be automatically adjusted, depending on how heated the processor is. In your card it appears that the fan is dying, no longer capable of running at anything but the full speed. You will have to replace it - follow this

My cooloing fans are running full speed all the time which is very loud and annoying. how can i fix this?

Firs thing you need to do is to find our why they are running full speed. My guess is that your computer is dirty inside and it is overheating, thus causing the fans to run full speed trying to cool it off. Disconnect everything from the pc and take it somewhere to clean it out. Remove the side panel an use a can of compressed air or an air compressor to blow all dust out the interior of the pc. Pay close attention to the heat sink on the processor and the cooling fans. When blowing around the fans hold the fan in place with a pencil to prevent it from spinning as this might damage the fan. You need to clean out the inside of a pc sitting on the floor every 6 months. If you have cats or dogs that shed living inside then every 4 months. If it is sitting up high and you have no animals then every year may be good enough.

Heater fan dont work all the time on my 94 volvo 960

After some years, the the filters (made of foam) in the HVAC system can become dry-rotted. Debris from the rotted foam, as well as dust, can accumulate in various places within the system. Unfortunately, the motor housing of the blower is one place in which the dust and debris accumulate very well. To fix the problem, you have to remove the cover from the blower, and vacuum clean it. The blower is behind the glove box, on the lower right side.

A word of caution: The fan cage (which looks like a gerbil wheel) can become brittle, over the years. After cleaning out the blower motor, the blower will be able to freely spin at full speed, again. This may be too much for an old brittle fan. If your old blower can't take the force of spinning at full speed, you will hear it break apart inside its chamber. I discovered this, the hard way. After cleaning the dust and debris from my Volvo's blower motor, the blower spun at full speed and the fan broke apart. So, I had to buy and install a whole new blower.

I agree...sounds like a power supply problem. Typically a bad power supply will not damage the motherboard. It should still be functional.
