Hi , i managed to install primevera P6 into my windows 7 . When i log in , it prompt me a message "licence file is not valid for this version, please contact your supervisor" . Any idea to solve this issue . Thanks

The only thing I can suggest is contact the administrator if necessary or get a valid license by purchasing the software or calling tech support to get you one. Without the valid license basically you cannot use this software or program. Thanks for using FixYa! John

Ways to Enable / Disable the Built-In Windows 7 Admin Account Many people familiar with prior versions of Windows are curious what happened to the Local Administrator account that was always created by default. Does this account still exist, and how can you access it?<br /> Recently I ran into an awkward situation where after disjoining a Windows 7 client machine from the domain, I was unable to log in to the computer. This was not because I had forgotten the local administrator password, but because the local administrator account was disabled (which is the default behavior in Windows 7). Like in Windows Vista, in Windows 7 the built-in Administrator's account is disabled by default. Furthermore, this account is not associated with any password. How can I check if my current Licence has expired?


I am not sure if I understand what you want to know, because the licence number of Avira actually has nothing to do with logging on a saved file.
Open the Avira configuration.There you will find how long your licence is still valid .In case it has expired you would have gotten a message from Avira, a pop up, asking you if your want to prolong/buy a licence.

The standalone DB Configuration seems simple but can be tricky When you configure the DB you have to use a Coded Username for the AdminSuperuser permissions "admprm$pm"! this user name makes your actual Log in username "Admin" you cannot use the admprm$pm at the Log in screen. Same with the Public User Permissions "pubprm$pm" gives read permissions but log in user name is "Public" Try the "Admin/Public" usernames if this does not work you may have to Uninstall and Reinstall. If you uninstall remember there are 2 peices of software to remove... P6 and the Oracle Database 10G

Hi.

This happens when the serial number used on installation is not recognised as valid, or when the serial had been used on more than one computer.

If you have installed the system with serial number different from the one printed on licence sticker, then reinstall the system using a valid licence number.

If you purchased the computer with system preinstalled , and you are not sure if system was installed with valid licence, then contact Microsoft.

You can also temporary get rid of the message doing a system restore to a date before you got Genuine Microsoft Validation message for the first time.

I just installed Primavera Project Management , and Methodology management. After logging in with the default username of admin and password of admin it comes back with the message " Unable to connect


You must connect to a database to utilize Primavera. You can not bypass this portion. So, Either remove the Database and reconfigure, or in the "Configure" Screen you can Name a new DB and use it. I would suggest that if you do not require 2 DB's not to have two. "The Oracle Database 10g" application that is installed with P6 (In your 'All Programs') will give you some DB manipulation options. Other wise refer to the TenSix link to clarify DB Config

Hi, I suggest to plug in the Internet LAN cable, Boot the Windows Disk setup. When installing, the missing Drivers for your Hard disk will be detected and installed automatically using the Internet.

If that wont help, I suggest you use another CD / DVD that has a recent version of the Windows you want to Install.

It is possible that you are attempting to install a 64-bit version of Java when you have a 32-bit operating system. Check your operating and confirm this. In Vista you can find this using Start > Control Panel > System. This is similar if you have Windows 7. Here is what it looks like:

If after that you, you follow these instructions from Sun (Java) to locate and install the 32-bit version.

SYMPTOMS

While trying to install Java a user gets an error message similar to:
' ... x64.exe not a valid Win32 application'


CAUSE

The error message is a result of trying to install a 64-bit version of Java on a 32-bit operating system.
SOLUTION

User needs to install a 32-bit version of Java software, since a 64-bit version is not compatible with their 32-bit operating system.

Follow these steps to download 32-bit Java
  1. Go to Manual download
  2. Click Windows XP/Vista/2000/2003/2008 Online.
  3. The File Download dialog box appears.
  4. Choose the folder location.
  5. (Save the file to a known location on your computer, for example, to your desktop).
  6. Click Save.
  7. Close all applications including the browser.
  8. Double-click on the saved file icon to start the installation process.

Hi,

Try to follow some of these methods:

First Method
  1. Lauch Windows Task Manager.
  2. End wgatray.exe process in Task Manager.
  3. Restart Windows XP in Safe Mode.
  4. Delete WgaTray.exe from c:\Windows\System32.
  5. Delete WgaTray.exe from c:\Windows\System32\dllcache.
  6. Lauch RegEdit.
  7. Browse to the following location:
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\
    Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon\Notify
  8. Delete the folder ‘WgaLogon’ and all its contents
  9. Reboot Windows XP.
Note: With this method, you may be prompted to install WGA Notifications again which can still be unselected.
Second Method
Another alternative suggested by dman is by using System Restore to restore the PC to a previous restore point that WGA Notifications hasn’t kicked in, and then carefully stop KB905474 from been applied to the system. To use System Restore, go to Start -> All Programs -> Accessories -> System Tools -> System Restore.
Note: Again, you may be prompted again to install WGA Notification, so it must be bypassed.
Third Method updated
This method involves using a cracked version of LegitCheckControl.dll to replace the original copy of LegitCheckControl.dll, and thus bypass the WGA validation and make Microsoft believes that your copy of Windows is genuine. To get rid of WGA Notifications warning messages, the patched version of WgaLogon.dll and WgaTray.exe to replace the existing files.
To apply the patch by replacing the files manually, try to end the respective processes in the Task Manager before deleting the existing files. Most likely is you will have to restart your PC in Safe Mode in order to replacing the original copy of LegitCheckControl.dll and related files. However, there has been automatic updater and even cracked WGA installer that automatically apply the patched version of WGA files.
