Question about Dell Latitude E5400 Notebook
Putting on a wet computer can create a short that permanently damages it. The computer needs to be completely dry before you try to restart it..this can take many days. i suggest you take out the battery, disconnect the ac leave it aside in the sun or a warm dry place - perhaps direct a soft stream of warm (not hot) air from a hair drier into the fan exit holes (at the side or bottom of the pc. if you are lucky it will start normally eventually but that is not guaranteed. If you are adept at mechanical stuff dismantle the keyboard and bottom of the computer to improve the evaporation of the humidity and dampness. Google for more solutions for wet laptop.
