How do I reset the password on my packard bell netbook dot s

You can follow this steps:
* Enter wrong password 5/6 times.
* You should see a system disabled screen.
* Your system disabled screen will show a error code, ex: 07347
* Now go to biospw.org, enter the error code.
* The site will generate you a master reset code from which you can reset the bios password.

*** Some laptops doesn't support that method.***

System disabled [08783]

you might have put in a bios security password for access. If you cannot remember it you might need to open the machine and do the 'hard reset' for the bios in the mother board. hope this helps

Bios reset

As another option you could try resetting the jumper. Some boards save the password regardless unless the reset the BIOS by using the resetting jumper. Refer to the motherboard's manual for further information on how to do this.
