Sound like the sender unit. It is best to take your car to your friendly auto dealer or machanic.

The oil sensor keeps going off even though the oil level is not low. I unplugged the sensor and it still goes off. Whats causing this?

rpm drops at redlight when slow down.....lower rpm equals lower oil pressure...if it comes on when ur doing 50 mph and stays on its a problem...if it comes on at stop signs then goes when u take off its ok.....but keep a check on ur oil ne ways

The oil light keeps on flickering even though I checked the level and it's at the correct level. I even checked all other levels for all other fluids and they are all correct. What can be the reason that...

There are a number of reason that could cause this: bad sensor, low oil pressure, wire rubbed and grounding out.

You need to screw out the oil pressure sensor and screw in a pressure guage then crank the car and observe the guage. It should stay above 20 psi at all times.

Does it flicker when idling or driving or both?

The oil light keeps coming on with a bell

If your oil gauge if you have one reads good pressure, more then likely you have a bad sensor, if you just have an oil light, take it to a repair shop where they can do an oil pressure test. Have it check, low oil pressure can cause major engine damage.

My low pressure oil light keeps coming on when i stop and i just got my oil changed. The oil is not low. What could be the problem?

Hi,
That means LOW PRESSURE , not low in volume. Pressure is measured in PSI. The reason that your light comes on when you are at a stop is because your engine goes to idle at a stop and would normally have lower pressure. That doesn't mean you should get a low pressure light though.. I would have it checked by a pro right away as this could be your first warning before a serious problem.
