I have a Fujitsu ASTA18LCC with 3x operation and 4x timer light code.

This is an "outdoor temperature thermistor open/short" error.
An easy and cheap fix but you will have to buy the part from Fujitsu.

When I turn the copier on: Error code E000 appears and it turns off automatically. What's wrong?

e000 means the machine not sensing the heat by his thermistor within a presetted period in "FIXING UNIT"
the main reasons are
check every connector of fixing unit.
check heaters lamp in upper heat roller in fixing unit.
check thermostate and clean/replace thermister.
if lamps, connections and thermistor and thermostate are ok then power control pcb may be faulty

Getting a "te" error code -- a heating issue?

I had the tE or te error (an L with a line through it) error on my LG front loader and my local appliance store sold me the thermistor for $7. I layed the unit on its side and accessed the thermistor through the bottom. It plugs into the bottom of the tank. Blue and white wires. No screws and 1 tie-wrap. (Leave the rubber grommet in - just pull the thermistor rod out.) Works like a champ!

What does f-03 mean?

Hi

Error F03 in Hotpoint washer means that the thermistor is open. When thermistor turns bad it will not let the water to heat or in some cases will boil the water to extreme temperatures. You’ll need to replace the thermistor to resolve this issue. The thermistor is located in the motor control unit. Inspect the element if its open circuit, it should read 1500-1800 ohms on Rx1 on the multimeter, if not then element is bad. To check/replace the element remove the lower rear panel. Hope this helps...

Problem is sc541

This is a fusing unit error code. Most likely one or both of the thermistors have failed. The fusing unit is the part that gets hot just before the paper exits the machine. The thermistors are the electronic parts in the fusing unit that monitor the temperature of the unit. This code means that the thermistors are either not "seeing" or reading any heat from the unit or for some reason the heater lamps are not coming on. In most all cases it is the thermistor/s that have gone bad and are not reading heat properly. You will need a service technician to replace these. Should be less than $200 repair.
Good Luck

ERROR SC545

This error code indicates a fuser unit malfunction. Most likely it will at least need new thermistors. Thermistors read the temperature of the fusing rollers. This code means the thermistors thought the unit was too hot. For this reason I am hesitant to give you the service mode reset procedure as you could do further damage.
Good Luck

I have an old copier - single sheet at a time,

You don`t specify the copier models. If have one old Sharp or Canon the H codes refer to tha fuser unit:
H 2 : Thermistor open detection, thermistor open or the fusing unit is not installed correctly when the door is closed.
H 3 :Triac in the shortcircuit, heat roller abnormally high temperature.
H 4 :Heater lamp open, defective installation of thermistor, thermostat open, and causes the set temperature is not reached after turn ON the power.
