Question about E-Machines eMachines Monitor E15T4
A driver is a Link which lets the Computer know how to use said product.
For example with your new laptop the driver will help the computer know what that laptop is capable of, what is built into it., and what features it has that you can use.
I would recommend installing the drivers which came with the screen or going to the manufacturer's website and getting the latest version.
Here is a link to your manufacturer's website for more details about what drivers and/or info you might need. http://support.gateway.com/us/en/emac/default.aspx
Hope this helps.
