Hitachi led 65" TV have maximum 120hz.but I can get only 60 hz.how to setup to 120hz..plx help me

The television panel itself is a 120hz panel, and it should be understood that regardless of the picture being fed into the television, it will always display at 120Hz. There will also be some signals being sent at different resolutions, such as 480, 720p and 1080i/p. Since the panel is a 1080p panel, the picture will also be upgraded to a 1080p picture, regardless of the source.

What you're seeing in the INFO bar are the Hz-ratings that are being sent to the television. Most sources will generally send a 60Hz signal, some will send a 24Hz signal, but all of them will be upconverted inside of the television to 120Hz. This is done by internal processing inside of the television.

How do i get my tv to 120 Hz from 60 Hz?

Good day,

The 60/120 hz rating refers to the refresh rate that the panel runs at. I do not believe there is any user control over this rate. The TV runs at 120hz or 60hz as manufactured.
The higher rate (120Hz) is more desireable.

Good luck...

I can't get my TV to receive the 120 hz, just the 60 even after turning the 120 hz "on" at the menu. Do you know why?

Since you don't provide make or model, I'm guesing a bit here, but...

Are you referring to the refresh rate on an HD set? If so, I'm not aware of any currently available consumer product that will generate an image with that refresh rate. Can you provide more details about the problem you are having? Hopefully with more to go on, we'll be able to help.

Thanks,
Dan

Refresh rate at 60 Hz?

http://support-us.samsung.com/cyber/popup/pop_troubleshooting.jsp?ia_cd=02010100&model_name=LN52A630M1F

According to the Samsung website, the on-screen information is in relation to the incoming signal, not the TV settings which are being displayed.

As long as you have the 120 Hz turned on, the TV will display the picture at that refresh rate. However, the on-screen information will not reflect that.

Very ood.
