You can try the following:1# Check (In main manifold assy.) recovery solenoid (No-1) and make sure coil is not burne or may need to rebuild. If so,replace new coil or rebuild solenoid flunger.2# Check (In small manifold back side of the machine) Inlet low & high side solenoids (small solenoid's No-10/11, and No-13/14) is receiveng power & opening properly.
Also you may need to calibrate pressure transducer or replace new one.
Hope this will help you. Good luck!

Machine won't recover, it gets stuck on "clearing in progress" Also won't vacuum, it says that "pressure exist press any key to continue" Your help would be greatly appreciated

I had a similar problem with a Robinair 17800b. The machine got stuck in Clr or (Clearing) while changing from R-12 to R-134a. If the tank (R-12 or R134a) does not have at least 10 pounds of refrigerant in the tank before you change to another refrigerant, the machine will stay in the clearing process. I called tech support and they walked me through a process that resets the machine. The reset involves entering a code while in r-12 mode, then removing all hoses and switching the switch to R-134a mode and entering another code. The call to the tech line took about 5 mins. The number I called 1-800-822-5561.

Robinair model 34288 will not stop recovering

what is the pressure reading on your guages? if it is below 0 if so the vacuum pump should kick on. if the vacuum pump keeps turning on and off check the software version on the machine if it is not 3.09 or 3.11 the software needs updated contact your local robinair service center. if it is not the software then the recovery solenoid may be sticking closed and will need replaced.

I HAVE A 34700Z UNIT AND I WAS RECOVERING AND AFTER A BIT IT STOPPED AND SAID HIGH PRESSURE UNIT DISABLED WHAT COULD BE THE PROBLEM.

This is a common problem of Robinair 34700Z / 347002k & 347112k series machine.so don't worry just check the following :- 1# Verify the ISV tank is not overfilled.if full, remove some refrigerant manually from tank. 2# Purge excess air from the tank manually.( Open air purge hose from the tank, then press tank valve as needed to purge air from the tank) 3#Check the air purge solenoid & High pressure switch for proper operation.Hope this will solve your problem, Best of luck & vote for my solution

It is clear to me you need to Replace the Compressor! But if you want to make sure yourself, please do the following: Press recover & fix a vacuum gauge on your machin Compressor suction port & monito the gauge is going up to13"HG suction,if not then you need to replace the compressor.
I wish this will help you to solve the the problem. if so, pls vote for it. Good luck!
