Question about i-mate Ultimate 9502 Cell Phone

Hi....I have a problem with my I-mate ultimate 9502. I installed the SRS WOW HD to it and then soft-reset it. Unfortunately, it won't completely switch on. It only shows the blue screen with the i-mate logo at the center. It stays that way until it runs out of battery. How can I resolve this? & are there any service centers here in the Philippines where I can go to for the repair of my device? Thank you.

First of all, if your device's battery is flat, recharge it. Unfortunately, you'll have to hard reset your device, in order to get rid of that boot screen. Hope you have a relatively recent backup, made before you installed the SRS WOW HD application, in order to save precious steps after your phone comes back to life, because this procedure will return your phone to its factory defaults, thus deleting all applications you have installed, as well as all your settings and personal data. Otherwise, you'll have to set it up all over again, just like you had just purchased it. Anyway, in order to hard reset your device, firstly remove the micro-SD card from its slot (if it is inserted, that is). Then, slide its screen up, thus revealing its hardware keyboard. Press and hold both the blue 'Fn' and the green 'Call' buttons, and, whilst keeping them pressed, briefly press the reset pin with the stylus pen. Release the keys only when a confirmation screen comes up, and confirm the procedure by pressing the left softkey (which shall be labeled 'Yes'). After a big while, you'll be prompted to align the screen and make the initial settings. Your device should work again.

My imate ultimate 9502 speaker is not working i mean i cant hear voice of caller but there is ring tone


Tap the speaker icon in the status bar, next to the clock one, and make sure that the 'On' checkbox is selected, and that the right slider (for phone) is all the way up.
In case these settings seem to be correct, try to soft reset your phone, but sliding its keyboard open, and pressing the reset pin (at the right of the right softkey) with the stylus pen.
If you still keep facing this issue afer a soft reset, your phone speaker might be faulty. Consider using either the wired headset or a bluetooth one for phone calls.

Contact a provider to establish a network connection for you. Once acquiirng another persons phone, the provider is unaware of the owership of the device. Contact a provider to make a sevice customisable to suit yourself, discarding the accessories that could been recognsible as another persons.

I just was installing a software on my 9502 and after reset the phone it never coms up I mean I have the first blue page of i-mate brand and nothing more , I guess the OS is gonem ... sb help me pls


You are stuck in the boot screen phase. I recall having fallen on that trap after installing SRS WOW HD on my old 9502, a long time ago. I'm afraid you'll have to hard reset your device, in order to have your device fully operational again. You, most probably, know that a hard reset will return your device to its factory defaults, thus deleting all the applications you have installed, as well as your personal data and settings. If you have a recent backup, to be used afterwards, you'll be able to avoid setting everything up from scratch. Anyway, to hard reset your device, slide your hardware keyboard open. Then, press and hold both the blue 'Fn' and the green 'Call' buttons, and, whilst keeping them pressed, briefly press the reset pin with the stylus pen. Release the keys only when a confirmation screen comes up. Confirm the hard reset procedure by pressing the left softkey (which should be labeled 'Yes'). Your device will reset, and, when it comes back to life, it will behave like the day you first touched it.

Cannot open windows


It must have been something you have installed (e.g. SRS WOW HD is known to cause this problem in your device), or even a registry change you might have made. You now have to hard reset it, in order to get rid of such a state. You'll lose all your personal data by doing it, but there's no other way that I'm aware of.
To perform a hard reset, slide the screen to reveal the hardware keyboard. Press and hold both the blue Fn and the green Call buttons for a couple of seconds, and, then, press the reset pin with the stylus pen. A confirmation screen should come up asking for confirmation. Confirm with the left softkey (if I'm not mistaken).

the only solution to your problem is to hard reset your phone.. unfortunately it would wipe your datas stored on your phone.. to try resetting follow this steps..
Take out the battery for a minute and then put it back, then press the Left and Right soft keys (the ones that look like a dash above the call and hang up buttons) at the same time, hold, and softly push the Reset button on the left? side of the device. Keep holding the SoftKeys until a confirmation message appears or the device boots up differently.

In case you have not yet done it, try to press and hold the power button for about 5 seconds, until you sense a very brief vibration, which means your device will start to soft reset.
