Question about Computers & Internet

I've a MSI motherboard ms-7399 and last week my 9800gt stop working, so i've bought a gtx 460. and today when i've try it still not working. only my onboard video card is working. So the prob isn't my video card. i,ve and antec psu 550watts. I've try to set my primary video to pci-e and my motherboard always use the onboard. And in SisSoftware Sandra i can see my PCI-E but nothing is plug in. So what should be the next step? PSU or motherboard? the voltage in the bios seem ok but one is not, the 3.3v is at 2.95v thx

Would a ENGTX 460 work with a MS 7267 version 3 mother board?

Yes, no problem - just that the processors supported by this motherboard are a bit weak compared to the video card so they won't be able to use its full power.

Hi. i have a problems with may video card msi gforce gtx 460 when i play wow i get a message "windows recovery video........" and when i touch on back side when memorys are is very very hot...

this might be because of a dusty motherboard and graphics card socket

try cleaning your computer of dust using a fine air blower from a compressor making VERY sure that there is no MOISTURE in the air line specifically around the CPU central processing unit dust causes static to build up in a computer causing it to overheat any many other problems

hope this helps

I need MS-6758 sound drivers, BIOS version 1

There are two versions of your motherboard listed under the MS-6758 model. I've posted links for the sound driver for both models. Try and download and install the driver from the first before trying the second link.

32 bit/64 bit Sound Driver for the MSI MS-6758:

If the installation fails after you download and install the driver from the first link, then try this link next:

Good luck, please post back to this solution if you have any difficulties, and thanks for using FixYa.

I need a motherboard for this model. Gateway dx4720-03

The Gateway DX4720-03 Desktop PC, uses an MSI ms-7399 motherboard, made specifically by MSI for Gateway.

I just did a quick search and saw this mobo available for $75 US on Ebay. (Gateway DX4720, ms-7399)

This is not an advertisement for Ebay, nor the seller.

I have a gateway MSII have a gateway MSI Ms-7399 mother board. I have an E6300 pentium dual core processor at 2.8 with a FSB at 1066,in it and it works fine. I want to know what the specs on the board are...

The board is maxed out at 1066 and it does not appear that gateway has a BIOS update to allow for the higher FSB reuired with the faster Intel chips. If you installed one of these newer LGA 775 chips into your computer it may work but would be a lot slower than what it is rated due to the chips multiplier would be set for 1333. I could not see any BIOS updates from gateway for this board. Also these chips are designed to run with the faster memory and the 800mhz memory speed would also be a bottle neck for your system.
