The only thing i can suggest is remove one of your RAM sticks and see if the machine will boot. I had this problem with mine and it turned out that one of my RAM slots was faulty and would not boot if both RAM slots had RAM in them.
Good Motherboard...BTW... Reset BIOS to Factory defaults. Make sure you have the latest BIOS as well. Then you need to eliminate the other devices. Try running just on the On-Board Video...see if crashes. Run w 2 Gig Ram...same same... and of course the processor which may be impossible. Once you know it is MB or CPU... you make a choice which to buy or test. MB first... you can always return with less stress.
I suggest that you need to buy the SAPPHIRE Radeon HD 5770 1GB graphics card. It is compatible to your ASUS motherboard. It will display and work faster.
Try this. Uninstall all ati drivers, then maybe you should use Driver cleaner pro to remove all driver components. Install net framework 2, then install driver again.Good luck.
Hello raidon1449
Have you accessed BIOS(startup and start tapping F2) to see if SLI and not PCIexpress is selected?
The best thing that I can recommend with any SLI or Crossfire setup is to install the cards seperately at first to make sure they are working by themselves. Then install the cards in SLI or Crossfire configuration.
Maybe the problem is not in the hardware, maybe your system is infected by the spyware virus. Try to download pctools spyware and pctools registry mechanic it's good anti spyware and registry checker. Clean first the spyware and run the registry mechanic to fixed the damage registry that cause of hanging of your computer.
You will need to pay close attention to how many beeps & if their short or long. Asus uses the Award BIOS. Beeps are a part of POST. Power On Self Test. Open the link below to find out what your beeps mean. http://www.bioscentral.com/beepcodes/awardbeep.htm
Have you checked the power cables that connect to the motherboard? Assuming it was not mechanically damaged in the fall it sounds like it's not getting power.
did you download the latest drivers from amd.com?
