The alarm panel will only transmit data over a phone line. It is intended to call a central station. You could put your phone number in the panel, but all you would hear when you answered would be sounds similar to a fax machine. There are external voice dialers available that you could trigger from your panel that would call you with a recording.

The link below has many installation manuals for different DSC panels including programming information for your entry/exit delays. The link will take you to the DSC page. You'll need to look for the model of your panel, not the PK5501 keypad.

Hope this helps.

The PC1616 is the panel. Link below is for the installation manual for it. Programming information is in it. You'll have to copy/paste the link. v4[1] (1).1 Installation Manual.pdf

What is the master code for a DSC pk5501 alarm

It depends on the alarm dealer that installed it since it was set by them when it was installed. The master code is never left something like 1234. You should call the last company to service the system. You can't typically default an alarm panel to put a code back to default.

Can the Simon xt be programed so that when you enter the stay mode there is not exit delay beeps?

There is always the exit delay, however, you can arm it silently and with no entry delay. To arm silently, press Door and windows, press silent.
To arm without entry delay, press doors and windows twice. Press silent if also wanting no beeps.

I need the used manual for the DSC security control panel for model PK5501

You can download the installation manual here:

You'll just need to register, then on the page above scroll down to PK-55XX/RFK-55XX-433 Installation Manual and save it to your computer. It will save as a PDF file, so you'll need Adobe Reader or another PDF reader to view it.

Motions don't stay active when doors and windows are on too.

The system is working as designed. If you arm both doors/windows and motions, but you DON'T exit the premises during the exit delay, the system will "downgrade" its arming to doors/windows only. The assumption is that you haven't actually left the premises and are at risk of creating fale alarms. This behavior can be disabled in System Configuration (though it may require the dealer access code to do it).

Try opening and closing a sensored external door (even if you don't go outside) during the delay after arming doors+motion and see if the motions don't stay active.
