You can remove or change the Windows User oradministrator's password. You need access to a computer with Internet access todownload the Hiren's Boot CD and burn it onto a CD. Then insert this CD into the laptop/computer and boot upthe laptop/computer with the Hiren's CD and follow the instructions. There are very useful utilities CD and it a Linux boot CDwhich contains quite a lot of Utility programs including a password removalprogram. Click on one of these links todownload HIREN'S BOOTCD :- http://www.hirensbootcd.net/ http://67.20.82.163/

If you have an installation disc, insert the disc and run windows again. If not press F8 just before boot starts and select restore system.

I dropped my cell phone on a wood floor and the screen went black. I can put in my pass code but the cell phone will not show my screen. The cell phone works except the fact I can't cant see anything.

First, I would take the phone back to the store, and see if its covered by the manufactures warranty. If that doesn't work you will need to replace your screen, the cheapest way I know of is Ebay, but assembling is required. I hope this helps .

you will require windows cd to reset or remove the password, first boot with cd and you get option to press any key to boot with cd ,press any key now windows will start copying files ,dont worry we are not reinstalling windows so keep up the installation process till you get the screen which says installing devices and windows time will be approx. 39 minutes to complete installation
quickly press Shift key+F10 this combination will stop windows installation and new window will pop that gives you option to reset and remove password.
Now do as you like and remove windows cd ,

I'm getting a stop error code 0X000000ED,0X86714368, 0X0000006, it's on a Dell Latitude D600 laptop?

Unmountable boot volume indicating that the system cannot successfully read the boot sector of the hard drive.
Run the diagnostics on the hard drive, if it fails, replace the hard drive.
If diags pass, boot to the recovery console, run chkdsk /r If it still gives the error after that, you can try reinstalling windows.
If that fails to resolve, then again, replace the hard disk drive

At conclusion of Installing Windows 7, computer reboots, and hangs on the Starting Windows screen. MSI MoBo, MS-7250 (V 1.4). The system passed the upgrade advisor.

Hi,
It sounds like the install was a bad or that your hard drive has bad sectors on it so the operating system cannot read the boot information properly.

Try booting the machine up in safe mode. To do this restart the machine and just after the post/splash screen repeatedly tap F8 until it gives you a sub menu. Select safe mode and let the operating system boot up.

Once in the OS click on the orb/start menu and type in the search bar cmd.

A command window will pop up. In that window type chkdsk /r (leave a space between the k and the /) the computer will tell you that it cannot perform a disk check because of files that are in use so you will have to schedule a disk check when you restart the computer, select yes to this and restart the computer.
It should boot normally and perform a disk check on the hard drive.

Please post back if you require anymore help.

Regards.
