Question about Washing Machines

1 Answer

I think that my washing machine goes really bad. I have a Whirpool LCE4332PQ compact machine. Last time I used it, the washing machine works fine for fill up with water. After it goes really bad, the agitator don't move for all and the engine made a bizarre sound like tac.tac.tac.tac It was like the engine was turning but the agitator did not answer. I pull out my clothes out of the machine and I leave the washer machine full of water but empty of clothes. I try to rotate manually the agitator. I successe to rotate the agitator but it won't turn like normally. I close the door and the same sound restart tac.tac.tac. The engine stop after 10 min and the washer machine smell a little burn. I unplug the washing machine and I find how to empty the water in my bath. I checked the user guide and I find nothing that can help me. I would like to know if my problem can be repaired or not. What pieces can I must check and replace on it.Thanks for the help

    Thanks for the tips.

Weird thing. I check the engine and the gearbox belt : Everything was fine.

I found the technical user guide under the washing machine fixed beside the engine. I run a diagnostic test on the washing machine and everything works fine...

May be I put too much clothes when the washing machine didn't move the agitator... It's Weird because I pull out all my clothes and leave the machins full of water free and the agitator did'nt response....

I will try to not put too much charge on the machine but every seems to works normally.

    Thanks again

The burning smell would be either from motor (part#25) or the belt (part#19). A new belt would cost you around $30 and drive motor will cost you $160. Disassemble the washer and check if belt is worn out, replace the belt. Please check the below diagram--

Whirlpool LCE4332PQ washer appears to be agitating in only one direction. Is this correct operation?

The agitator has a slanted flange that pulls the water in one direction and coasts as it returns to the begining of its' stroke, then pulls again.

Washer will wash but won't spin after wash to finish load

Does the water drain after it finishes the wash before the spin is supposed to start? If yes then it can be that the timer is faulty or the spin windings in the motor have burnt out.Does the pump work at all when this has happened, or is the machine completely dead?Let me know please.I also need to know whether it's a digitaly controlled machine or works with a mechanical switch.

there's a lid switch on the right side when you open the lid,it might kill the power when the lid opens while filling, you can stick a screw driver in there to check it,you have to send the model number and tell me what it's doing,is it filling and then not doing anything or what's happening with it,does it fill with the lid down?

I have been given a Whirlpool AWM 312 by friends moving overseas and don't know how to operate it and would like to get a manual. My main problem is what drawer (front the left facing the machine) do I...

The manuals for most Whirlpool appliances are available here: . Look for the full model number under the lid on the rim of the washer. AWM 312 is not a complete model number. Next is the washer a top loading or front loading machine? This is actually indicated in the model number - most Whirlpool models start WFW (front-load) or WTW (top-load). The exception is the compact washers (LCE4332PQ is the current model).

For the front-loading washers, the detergent goes into the largest compartment (usually the left-most part of the drawer). Top-loading washers that have a detergent compartment usually have it positioned at the top center back of the tub. Use HE detergent for high efficiency washers and do not use more detergent than recommended (using less is okay).

I hope this helps.

Whirpool Duet - Soap not getting into wash cycle

O.K. Is the water draining out properly? If the filter is blocked then your washing will be churning in dirty water as the machine will drain for a maximum time then rinse etc. in the used water.

Error code F70 on Whirlpool frontload washer WFW9600

Welcome spammailmd

You said, you tried to use the delayed wash last night but when we went to it this morning we had error code F70. There is a small possibility that the door was not closed properly, but we forgot to check. We opened the door, closed it and restarted it on a non-delayed wash and it started just fine. The manual for the washer is not very descriptive with the error codes, it simply says to restart and if that doesn't work call the repair man (what is this a microsoft windows machine?).

Whirlpool codes:
“F” codes other than F20, F21 or F22
Select PAUSE/CANCEL twice to cancel the cycle. Select
DRAIN/SPIN if there is excessive water in the washer.
Re-select cycle and press START. If the problem remains,
call for service.

Let me know that it works for you or if you have any questions.
Thank You.
