Question about Toshiba 1370 Black and White Copier

1 Answer

When the paper drawer is fully-loaded and inserted properly, the "load paper" light blinks indicating that there is no paper (hence you cannot photocopy). However, when you pull the drawer out, the indicator light goes off and the "copy" button turns green indicating that it is now ready to copy (although, of course, you can't since the paper drawer is not in). How can I fix this?

If you remove the paper tray and you look in the slot that the paper tray slides in you should see a sensor flag hanging down remove the flag, it seems that the sensor is faulty the machine should work but wont let you know when the paper is finished so the very last page will show paper jam

If job prints from the wrong tray or on the wrong paper or specialty media, this is an indication that the operator panel menu settings do not match the media loaded in the tray.

Make sure the Paper Size and Paper Type specified in the printer driver match the paper size and type in the tray.

Sir in our office the canon ir2270 jam the papers. plz send me the steps which we handle this problem

Please follow these instructions every time you load paper and you will never have paper jamming problems.
Make sure that the paper drawer is properly in place. Do not load paper of an irregular size into the paper drawers. Do not load the following types of paper into the paper drawers. Doing so may cause a paper jam. - Severely curled or wrinkled paper - Thin straw paper - Transparencies - Paper which has been printed on using a thermal transfer printer (Do not print on the reverse side of this paper either.) Fan the stack of paper well before loading it. Never place paper or any other items in the empty part of the drawer next to the paper stack. Doing so may cause paper jams.
Also to clear paper jam if you have the manual with you follow it OR you can go to this link and download the manual. It is equally applicable ti ir2270

Paper is inserted properly but error message keeps saying "Load paper face down in Main tray"

i think the printer has 2 trays, one down and the other one on top from where you insert the paper. load the paper there as well. if there is only one tray then check the paper sensor in the bottom, if the paper end sensor comes out of position then it will not detect the paper.

I have an old Canon 1150 color copier. The bottom drawer #2 dropped and can't feed paper properly. So I put 11x17 paper in drawer #1 which had 8x10 paper originally. Now the panel still shows drawer #1...

Is there a paper selection wheel or bar in the tray?

Some of the older Canon models have a dial (usually in the lower right hand corner of the tray) or a slider bar (usually on the left hand side of the tray) when you open it. That has to be set properly or the machine has no idea what size paper is there.

It says add paper but it has paper loaded

Remove the paper drawer, and be sure there are no obstructions. Check to be sure nothing is stuck, and the paper is seated properly. Insert the drawer again, and see if the error goes away.
