Make sure you have connected an ethernet cable from your router to your computer. If you are using wireless make sure you have found the network you want to use and have typed in the security code. Go into internet explorer and click on TOOLS in the right hand corner at the top. Go down to INTERNET OPTIONS. Click on it and a window will pop up. Go to the top and click on CONNECTIONS. Click on it and it goes to another window. Go to the bottom where it says LAN SETTINGS and click on it. Make sure AUTOMATICALLY DETECT SETTINGS is the ONLY one check marked. Click APPLY and or OK and close your browser. Restart your browser.

How do i download a soundmax driver from my pc onto mass storage device, then upload the driver onto my acer aspire kav10 which doesnt have internet connection?

Download the audio driver onto your PC that has an Internet connection and then copy the audio driver onto an USB memory stick. You can then insert this USB memory into your Acer and click on the audio driver to install it onto your Acer.
Download the audio and device drivers from the Acer WEB site. Make sure you select the model of your laptop the drivers you that require that matches the Windows version that is installed on your laptop. Use this link to get to the Acer support: -

Can't get onto internet

Go to Preferences (prefs) and make sure that the network is set to WiFi, then go to Wifi and make sure that the wireless radio is turned on. Then click on setup, let it scan for any available network. Then when it finds the network, click connect.

If that does not work, you may need to do a hard reset to set it back to default settings.

If I could be of further assistance, let me know. If this helps or solves the issue, please rate it.
Thanks, Joe

Bluetooth problem

If I understand your setup, the computer's got the internet connection, and you want to bluetooth your wife's iPaq to the computer and through it out to the internet? And you've managed to pair the iPaq and the computer? Have you set up a pass-through relationship on the computer using ActiveSync? Good luck.
