Does the computer still see it when plugged in? Does the phone show that it's charging?
If your answer is no to the above questions, then you need to do a DFU Restore.
Here are the steps:
1. Turn off the phone. 2. Hold down the power (the one at the top) and the home buttons. 3. When you see the Apple logo, release the power, but keep holding the home button. 4. After you do that, open iTunes and it should tell you that your iPhone is in restore mode. 5. Restore the phone.
Hope this helps.

Iphone 4 wont charge

If you're attempting to charge your iPhone using a USB cable on your computer, check that your computer is not in a power-saving mode. Computer states, like Sleep or Hibernate, do not supply enough power to the iPhone to charge it. Keep the computer turned on and in an alert state to ensure that power is flowing through the USB charger to the iPhone.

What's wrong with my iphone when it can't charge even tho it's pluged in the charger?

Try charging it in your computer using a USB cable to check if the problem is in the phone or on the charger. If it does charge in the computer it means your charge is damaged. If same thing happens try using a different battery. If it still not working your phone might need servicing.

if the battery is completely drained, you will see an image of a red battery. You will have to wait for it to charge up to at least 5 percent before the system will boot.
you have to wait.

My i phone wont turn on, it is charged, i tryed putting it on the charger but still nothing happens?

Hello and Welcome to FixYa!
Try holding the power button for approx 10 seconds. If nothing happens even then your might want to restore your iPhone by connecting it to a computer and following this tutorial http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1414
Hope this helps, do let me know if you are still having a problem. If this was helpful please do rate me.

I have a feeling that when you ran the battery down it is now struggling to get and hold a charge.
If you have a friend with a similar battery perhaps try that, or go to a mobile store and ask them to try a new battery for you.

I pluged my 3 week old i phone and it has a

Problem:

My iphone's battery died and i plugged it in to charge it and left it there. Then plugged it into my computer then tried to turn it on and it wont turn on.. I don't know what to do. Does anybody have any ideas

Solution
:
  1. ive tried charging and holding both buttons but nothing that means it is a hardware problem or the motherboard
  2. try resetting it by pressing and hold the Sleep/Wake button (on the top right of the unit) and the Home button (circular button on the iPhone?s face) simultaneously for at least 10 seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
  3. The first tip worked for me too, just try resetting it... Here's the logic: When your iPhone dies, the internal RAM shuts down after the reserve battery power is used. This in turn sleeps the motherboard, which is why it appears dead. Resetting the RAM on the motherboard will juice the very small amount of energy out of the battery to re-boot the motherboard. If resetting your iPhone doesn't work for you at first. Lay it in your cradle for approx. 10 minutes then try resetting. Although it doesn't appear so, you will actually be charging the battery, just without waking the motherboard.
  4. Hold down the home button then plug the usb lead into the back of the computer at the same time. see if that helps!

My iphone does nothing it wont turn on i charged it i think its charged i cant tell because the screen displays nothing when i pluged it in to charge i heard it start to charge

See if itunes can see it. If it can you can restore it. If not with the phone off connect it to the computer and hold the home and power button for 6 secs. then release the power button but keep holding the home button until itunes sees the phone. now you can restore the phone.
