T700 Asco dryer will not start

It probably blew out the thermal fuse. The thermal fuse should be located just inside the rear of the dryer on or near the exhaust duct. The fuse is about one inch long. It is easily checked with an ohm meter or multimeter. It should have continuity and if it doesn't it's bad and will need replaced. Sure hope this helped.

How do i get to the drum belt on an 80 series kenmore dryer

You do the belt from the front. It involves removing the top so the front can come off to get the belt around the drum. eric

Asco transfer switch does not shut down the generator after utility power is restored and the cool down period has been completed.

Same problem here with the ASCO 165, after a couple of fierce lightning strikes yesterday that did over $10k damage to my neighbor's electronics, and also took out my garage door opener.

I'm pretty confident the control board is the problem, but I don't plan to try to replace components. Will probably opt for a new control board from ASCO, or another source, assuming they are still available.
