Hi " try to check the controller's battery condition. Maybe it is too week now and not enough to send infrared signal..
, then also try to replace new battery for confirmation...just follow the correct orientation of the battery on the socket..

if the controllers is okay..then check the reciever circuit on the vehicle...try to check if there is a open connection ...like lifted wires...

Good luck"

How do I replace the lost controller for my Tonka ricochet 4x4

Hello there,
Always try the manufacturers first. 'Funrise' own Tonka.
These are the people who sell tonka and they have a 800 number you can ring.
As they are the people who make it, I am sure they will have one.

The car got wet ,and disassembly and inspection revealed a burnt item on the main circuit board . can i get a replacement board ? the car is near new and in excellent condition otherwise .

If the part is the same one that overheatd on my sons Ricochet after it got wet, it is a UTD408 power mosfet. Essentially a switch. You can desolder it and get a new part or equivalent and it may work again

How do you charge the iwave helicopter?

In the controller unit (the controller holds the 6 AA batts) there is a compartment just under the green charge light. Open the compartment by sliding the compartment door down in the direction of the arrow. This will expose a wire with a white plug on the end of it. Insert this plug into a socket found on the underbelly of the helicopter next to the on/off switch. On the controller, turn the switch to the 'on' position. The red and green light on the controller will light, indicating it's charging. After about 15 minutes, the green light will go out, indicating that the helicopter is fully charged.

My Web RC - Heli I. IR - Web Wolf isn't starting up even after I charge it. The instructions are very vague. What am I doing wrong

Hi! My sister's son had the exact same problem and after a quick look over the instruction manual I was able to get it to work. I have tried all the different Airhogs and this webrc is truly a superior flying toy. You can actually control it and make it go wherever you want to after you learn how to use the trim knob. Here are my suggestions to fixing the charging issue:
- Make sure the helicopter is OFF, - the batteries are fully charged on the controller/charger - and that the charging cable is plugged in correctly. You will know when you plugged it in correctly because the little light on the controller will change from red to green or vice-versa (cant remember) - the light on the controller/charger will change colors again when the helicopter is fully charged. - I am also an electrical engineer so I recommend you wait 10-15 minutes after turning it off and the same after charging it for optimal battery performance and life.
Hope this helps.
Have a safe flight!

Usually the red light is on to indacate the batteries are being charged, now the green is the only light that is on

The green light on the charger usually indicates that the batteries are fully charged and you are ready to go. Does the controller show the batteries are fully charged? Can you operate the power wheel chair for several hours? If so, you are good to go.
When you connect the charger, if the light goes to red to green within a few minutes and the battery power does not last more than 1-2 hours or less, it may indicate that that the batteries will not take a charge anymore and need to be replaced.

When connecting up to charge red light comes on 'power on' button on front and no charging happens - any ideas? thanks

What does indicator light mean?
  • Steady red light: Battery is charging.
  • Steady green light: Battery is fully charged.
  • Flashing red light: Battery needs charging.
  • Flashing green light: The music receiver is switched on.
  • Flashing red/green light: The music receiver is available to be added to your phone.

Rechargable Batteries Battery Charger

When batteries are placed into the charge mode, the red light will come on.
When fully charged, on those units with a green light, the green light will be an indication that your batteries are charged and if your unit has no green light, the fully charged indication will be when the red light turns iff.
